Aeriz

Aeriz grows cannabis in mid-air. No soil, no dirt — roots hang suspended in a custom-fitted table and get misted with a precise nutrient solution on exact intervals. The result is flower sold through dispensaries across Illinois and Arizona, backed by one of the deepest award shelves in either state.

How They Actually Grow It

Instead of soil, roots anchor into recyclable clay pebbles in net pots and hang free below, misted with a closed-loop water and nutrient mix that recirculates instead of draining away. That loop uses 95% less water than soil growing and 30% less than hydroponics, and the plants come up as much as three times faster.

The last stretch matters as much as the setup. For the final seven to ten days, only water runs through the system, forcing the plant to burn off residual nutrients before harvest. Aeriz says its yields test at 0PPM — the cleaner the input, the less there is standing between you and the strain itself.

What's On The Shelf

The lineup runs deep. Flower and .5-gram pre-roll two-packs cover the everyday end, live resin comes in budder, sugar and diamonds-and-sauce textures, and the solventless live hash rosin is pulled with ice water and a freeze dryer — no chemical solvent touches it at any point.

Vapes come in four builds — live rosin, live flower, full spectrum and the cost-conscious Element cart — all on standard .510 threading. Full Spectrum Hash Oil is the house signature: triple-distilled, fully activated, dab it or smoke it or cook with it. Edibles land as fruit Drops and chocolate truffles.

The strain catalog runs 52 deep and rotates constantly. Ice Cream Cake and Wedding Cake anchor the indica-leaning side, Jenny Kush is the house sativa and the most decorated cut they grow, and the rest turns over often enough that the shelf looks different month to month.

The Trophy Case

This is where Aeriz separates from the pack. Errl Cup wins stack up season after season — a dozen in fall 2024 alone, fourteen the spring before — plus Cannabis Cup placements in both Illinois and Arizona, Arizona Growers Cup golds, and Best in Grass hardware in both states through 2026.

Illinois budtenders — the people who actually hand the jar over — voted Aeriz Best Overall Brand in 2025. Jenny Kush alone has taken sativa flower, vape, rosin and THCa wins across five different competitions since 2020, and GMO and 8" Bagel carry the same kind of receipts on the concentrate side.

Grown Clean, On Purpose

The environmental side isn't marketing dressing. Packaging is recyclable, sustainably sourced and produced on wind power. Carbon output is offset through a vetted forest-carbon program that covered more than 8,000 tonnes in 2022. Growing without soil also means no dirt trucked in and no spent medium hauled off at the end of every cycle.

The High Rise Read

Aeroponics gets talked about like a gimmick until you taste the gap between flower grown clean and flower grown in a nutrient-heavy pot. Aeriz calls itself the largest aeroponic cultivator in the world, and the trophy count backs the quality claim harder than the size claim does. Buy it for the terps.

Where To Find It

Aeriz is dispensary-only — no direct sales, nothing shipped to your door. Product moves through licensed shops across Arizona and Illinois, with California listed as next up. The brand's shop page routes to live dispensary menus so you can see what's in stock near you before you drive. There's a hotline too: (844) TERPENE.
