At a glance
KANHA is the flagship cannabis edibles brand of Sunderstorm, a California company co-founded in 2015 by Cameron Clarke. Its catalog extends beyond one fast-acting gummy: Classic, Ratio, NANO and FX gummies sit beside solventless belts, rosin sours and bite-size chocolates. State-regulated cannabis products and the separate KANHA Life hemp business use related branding but follow different sales channels.
Founder and parent company
Sunderstorm identifies Cameron Clarke as co-founder and chief executive. The parent was founded in California in 2015 and operates the manufacturing and distribution platform behind KANHA. Public materials place other Sunderstorm products and acquired brands in the portfolio, but KANHA is the consumer name attached to its best-known gummies and vapes.
Clarke is the founder identity consistently documented in current company sources.
How KANHA developed
KANHA grew as a specialist edibles label inside Sunderstorm’s science-and-manufacturing strategy. The emphasis is repeatable formulation, flavor and batch testing rather than celebrity licensing. Sunderstorm says it manufactures its product family in-house and controls a climate-managed distribution system.
Sunderstorm’s 2015 founding establishes corporate history; individual KANHA lines launched later and should not inherit that date automatically.
Current gummies and chocolates
The current catalog includes Classic fruit gummies, cannabinoid Ratio formulas, fast-acting NANO gummies and FX products combining multiple cannabinoids with other ingredients. Solventless Live Rosin Belts divide a higher-potency piece into marked segments, while Rosin Sours use strain-specific solventless rosin. KANHA Minis are portable chocolate bites in targeted blends.
Flavor, ratio and strength vary by market. California examples do not guarantee every state carries every SKU.
What the NANO claim means
KANHA says its NANO process reduces cannabinoid particle size and coats particles with plant-based technology to accelerate absorption. The brand markets an average onset around 15 minutes, with some pages using a five-to-fifteen-minute range. Those are manufacturer performance claims, not guaranteed responses.
Classic products use a traditional edible format, while NANO, selected Ratio items and FX products carry the fast-acting formulation. Not every KANHA item should be described as instant.
Testing and ingredient controls
KANHA defines “triple-lab tested” as testing purchased oil by its vendor, independent testing after receipt, and third-party testing of the finished product. Its lab portal searches by product name or batch identifier. The company says packages are nitrogen-flushed and vegan gummies use pectin, agar and locust bean gum instead of gelatin.
Match a report to the package batch. A general brand statement is not a substitute for the relevant COA.
Documented awards
At WeedCon Wonderland in 2020, Sunderstorm reported three first-place Buyer’s Cup results: KANHA NANO Vegan Blood Orange Bliss for Best Indica Gummy, KANHA Watermelon for Best Hybrid Gummy, and NANO5 Lucidity Citrus for Best Sublingual. The award page names event, year, categories and products.
NANO5 was a Sunderstorm product rather than a KANHA gummy, so it is recorded as a parent-company win instead of being reassigned to KANHA.
U.S. and international footprint
Sunderstorm lists regulated operations in California, Nevada, Massachusetts and Illinois, plus international reach involving Thailand, Japan, Europe and Australia. Availability and regulatory status differ by jurisdiction; global language does not mean one identical product ships everywhere.
State-regulated cannabis products are purchased through licensed channels. The locator points to dispensaries and delivery services rather than interstate cannabis checkout.
KANHA Life and fraud warnings
KANHA Life is the separate hemp business, with hemp-derived gummies offered in more than 30 U.S. states where permitted. The FAQ says cannabis products cannot be mailed across state lines and directs eligible hemp orders to kanhalife.com. It also identifies kanhagummiesofficial.com as fraudulent.
How to read the brand today. Identify product family, cannabinoid amounts, state market and batch COA. Do not infer health outcomes from names such as DREAM, ENERGY or SLEEP.
KANHA’s documented strengths are a broad specialist catalog, batch lookup, four-market regulated footprint, separated hemp channel and named 2020 competition results. Connected galleries should keep jurisdictional distinctions visible.
