Lord Jones is a premium cannabis brand owned by Cronos Group and sold in Canada and Israel. It began in the United States as a luxury hemp-derived CBD line and now runs as a THC brand across pre-rolls, vaporizers, concentrates and edibles.
Founders and origins
Robert Rosenheck and Cindy Capobianco co-founded Redwood, the company behind Lord Jones, in 2017.
The Cronos acquisition
In August 2019 Cronos Group announced an agreement to acquire Redwood Holding Group for approximately US$300 million net of cash and debt adjustments, with US$225 million of that in cash and the balance in newly issued Cronos shares. The transaction closed in September 2019. Rosenheck and Capobianco joined Cronos and continued to lead the development of the Redwood platform.
The Canadian relaunch
On 3 November 2023 Cronos brought Lord Jones into the Canadian adult-use market with Hash Fusions, ice-water-hash infused pre-rolls. The launch products were White Tahoe OG flower with White Tahoe OG ice water hash, an indica listed at 35 to 40 percent THC, and Cosmic Kush flower with Platinum GMO ice water hash, a hybrid listed at 35 to 40 percent THC and above, both sold as one-gram singles.
The Canadian range
The Canadian catalog now covers Hash Fusions and Live Resin Fusions pre-rolls, Live Resin and Liquid Diamonds x Live Resin vapes, Live Resin Caviar concentrates and Chocolate Fusions edibles.
Ownership and markets
Lord Jones sits in Cronos Group's brand portfolio alongside Spinach, PEACE NATURALS and LIT. Cronos's 2025 annual filing describes the Lord Jones portfolio as covering the pre-roll, vaporizer, concentrate and edible categories and records the brand as sold in Canada and Israel. In February 2026 Cronos launched Lord Jones cannabis flower products into the Israeli medical market.
