At a glance

Mfused is a minority-owned cannabis technology company founded in Seattle in 2012 by Adam Melero, Yung Tan and Jeff Freeman Jr. The company is best known for Super Fog all-in-one vaporizers, but its current catalog also includes infused Fattys pre-rolls and multiple oil families built around different cannabinoid and terpene formulations.

The three founders and a self-funded start

Current company materials name Adam Melero, Yung Tan and Jeff Freeman Jr. as co-founders. Yung Tan serves as chief executive, while Freeman publicly describes the company as self-funded from its 2012 formation. Mfused grew inside Washington's regulated market rather than beginning as a national licensing roll-up, a history that still appears in the JAYM Enterprises legal entity and Washington UBI printed on its site.

Super Fog is the flagship platform

Super Fog organizes vapes by formulation rather than pretending every device contains the same kind of oil. Vibes uses full-spectrum extracts with selected cannabinoid combinations. Twisted pairs melted THCa diamonds with natural terpenes. Fire combines melted THCa diamonds with live-resin terpenes, while Loud uses high-terpene full-spectrum extract sourced from partner farms in each operating state.

Jefé Plus and the hardware strategy

The Jefé Plus all-in-one device adds three heat settings, a battery monitor, a dosing timer, USB-C charging and a cold-start mode intended to prime the device. Mfused says it tunes hardware to the oil type, making device engineering part of the product rather than a generic container. Cold start may reduce clogs; it is not a guarantee against hardware failure.

FLO devices and Fattys pre-rolls

The broader platform includes the FLO smart device and Super Fog Fattys, oversized infused pre-rolls available in selected Twisted and Fire formulations. Product assortment varies by state because local licensees, manufacturing rules and package limits differ. A brand name or flavor appearing in one market is not evidence that the identical SKU is available nationwide.

From Washington to five markets

Mfused now maintains market pages or operations for Washington, Arizona, New York, Maryland and Missouri. The official site lists New York processor license OCM-PROC-24-000116, Washington UBI 604012408 and an Arizona license number. Missouri is the newest expansion disclosed on the site, while an Arizona distribution partnership shifted Super Fog operations and supply-chain management there to Flow Distribution in 2025.

A documented 2025 technology award

Cannabis & Tech Today named the Jefé Plus a 2025 CannaTech Innovation Award winner, citing its real-time feedback and customizable heat settings. Super Fog also appeared as Washington's winner in the 2025 NuggMD Patients' Choice Awards. Those results recognize the device platform and consumer preference; they do not independently validate the safety or composition of every oil.

Ownership, licenses and the legal entity

The Mfused site identifies JAYM Enterprises LLC as the rights-holding company and calls the business minority owned. Washington license data lists the Seattle processor as active, while each newer state uses its own licensed manufacturing or distribution structure. That means oil source, testing laboratory and responsible licensee should be checked on the package for the state where it was sold.

Material workplace-safety history

A 2023 Washington Department of Labor & Industries inspection cited JAYM Enterprises, doing business as Mfused, for two serious workplace hazards: failure to use a forklift restraint and unprotected mezzanine fall exposure. The agency assessed $4,800 for each item and noted that the situations were not believed to remain. These were employee-safety findings, not a consumer product recall.

How to evaluate an Mfused product. Identify the formulation family first—Vibes, Twisted, Fire or Loud—then verify the responsible state license, cannabinoid panel, ingredients and batch report. Do not treat flavor names as proof of single-cultivar oil. For more vaporizer and extract companies, browse the High Rise brand directory.
