Moon Made Farms is a founder-led regenerative cannabis farm in Southern Humboldt County, California, working 40 acres in the Emerald Triangle near Garberville. It grows small-batch sungrown flower in living soil, with work timed to lunar cycles.

Tina Gordon

Tina Gordon founded and owns the farm. She drummed in Bay Area groups and worked as a documentary filmmaker before moving from San Francisco to Humboldt County in 2007. She sits on the boards of the International Cannabis Farmers Association and Sun+Earth Certified.

From Serendipity to Moon Made

The operation started as Serendipity Collective in 2009 and took the Moon Made Farms name in 2015.

Regenerative and lunar cultivation

Moon Made grows outdoors on terraced ground using native soil, on-site compost, plant extracts and compost teas, with cover crops and hand labor behind the living-soil approach. The farm describes its flower as organic, pesticide free and regeneratively grown, and carries Sun+Earth and Dragonfly Earth Medicine Pure certification. It holds California cultivation licences CCL18-0001314, CCL18-0002619 and CCL18-0002625.

Flower, pre-rolls and Queen Colas

Reserve releases span THC-dominant and mixed-ratio flower: Moon Dog, Grapes & Cream, Peace & Love, Rainbow Breeze and the 2:1 CBD:THC cultivars Sapphire Tsu and Mendo Bliss. Formats run flower, half-gram five-pack and one-gram pre-rolls, sugar shake and the 24-gram Queen Cola branch.

Breeding and brand partners

Genetics come through Humboldt Seed Company, Biovortex and Huckleberry Hill Farms — Sapphire Tsu is Sapphire Scout crossed with Biovortex's Harle Tsu, and Higher Heights supplied the Mendo Bliss genetics. The farm's flower and oil also reach A Good Witch, Blue Sage, MUSE and Sespe Creek.

Competition record

Sapphire Tsu took second place in Alternative Cannabinoid Flower at the 2023 Emerald Cup.
