At a glance

Nature's Heritage is MariMed's cannabis flower and extracts brand, built around an archive of genetics and sold in Delaware, Illinois, Maryland and Massachusetts. It began as a Maryland medical-market launch in 2018 and has grown into a multi-category portfolio spanning flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, vapes, RSO and MycroDose capsules.

MariMed launched the brand in 2018

MariMed and Kind Therapeutics USA debuted Nature's Heritage in Maryland on April 24, 2018. The first products were made at Kind's state-licensed Hagerstown cultivation and production facility under MariMed management. The launch catalog already included flower, concentrates, vape pens and extracts, establishing Nature's Heritage as a corporate product brand rather than a separately founded farm.

A company-built brand, not a named founder story

MariMed's launch announcement instead credits a product and marketing team: then-COO and product-development leader Tim Shaw described the cultivation concept, while then-CMO Tim Tennant explained the original heritage-and-exploration packaging. MariMed's current corporate site still lists Nature's Heritage among its owned brand portfolio.

Genetics are the organizing idea

The brand positions its collection as an archive of genetics from around the world. Its current strain library is filtered by state and includes classics and newer crosses such as Lamb's Bread, Cheese, Gelato #33, GovernMint Oasis, Double Krush and Guicy Banger. Availability and reported potency ranges differ by state and batch, so the live menu and package label are more useful than a universal strain list.

Flower and pre-roll formats

Nature's Heritage lists flower in 3.5-gram and 7-gram jars, Double Fresh Duos and several pre-roll formats, including Fresh Flight variety packs. The company says its flower is hand-trimmed and that pre-rolls use flower rather than trim. Those are brand process claims; shoppers should still use the package date, cannabinoid panel and state testing label to compare individual batches.

Concentrates and vapes

The concentrate range includes bubble hash, kief, live rosin, live resin, diamonds and sauce, and batter. Vape formats include 510 cartridges and all-in-one devices filled with live rosin, live resin or sauce, depending on the product.

RSO and MycroDose broaden the catalog

Nature's Heritage sells RSO in capsules and syringes and markets MycroDose as full-spectrum cannabis combined with functional mushrooms in capsule form. The brand's RSO page contains disease and therapy language that should not be repeated as established medical fact. Neither product naming nor marketing replaces advice from a licensed clinician, state rules or the instructions on the tested package.

Available in four states

The current official site lists Delaware, Illinois, Maryland and Massachusetts. Illinois is the newest of those markets, following an April 2025 flower launch. Because cannabis products are made within state systems, the cultivar mix, form factors, producer license and retailer coverage may differ from one market to another even when the Nature's Heritage name is the same.

Crescendo earned two 2021 honors

Crescendo placed second in the 2021 Massachusetts Cultivator's Cup and later earned a bronze medal at the High Times Cannabis Cup Massachusetts 2021. These are specific, sourced results for one cultivar—not proof that every product or batch is award-winning. They also belong to Nature's Heritage, while contemporaneous dispensary and edible awards in MariMed releases belong to other parts of the company.

Product availability, strain, potency and licensed producer remain state- and batch-specific. Check the official locator, the dispensary menu and the compliance label rather than assuming a product shown nationally is sold locally. Explore more East Coast operators in the High Rise brand directory.
