What fast acting means
Ripple says its water-compatible delivery system enters the bloodstream sooner than conventional fat-based edibles. In a 2021 peer-reviewed study of seven adults receiving 10 milligrams of THC, Ripple gummies produced higher circulating THC than two comparator gummies at 20 minutes; Ripple Pure 10 also exceeded one comparator at 30 minutes. The small sample and mixed pharmacokinetic findings matter, so this profile does not convert that result into a universal onset guarantee.
Clinical evidence and limits
The 2021 paper found product-by-time differences for THC but not for the measured THC metabolites, and reported no appreciable difference among products for several summary pharmacokinetic parameters. A separate 2026 peer-reviewed study of a microencapsulated fast-acting edible found peak concentration about 30 minutes earlier than a standard edible, with no significant difference in total exposure. Neither study means an individual will feel effects in exactly ten minutes.
Dosing and consumer safety
Edible effects vary with dose, food, metabolism and tolerance, and can last much longer than inhaled cannabis. Consumers should start with the labeled serving, wait before redosing, avoid driving and keep every product away from children and pets. Ripple's precision positioning reduces neither impairment risk nor the need to verify whether a package is regulated cannabis or hemp-derived delta-9.
