Sublime

Sublime is an Oakland cannabis manufacturer best known for Fuzzies, an infused pre-roll line built with flower, a concentrate core and, in its classic form, an outer kief coating. The company also developed vape, concentrate and edible products during its independent years. Sublime changed ownership through Harborside in 2021 and Smoakland in 2024, tying the brand’s product history to several distinct operating periods in California.

Products

Fuzzies were sold as King singles and Mini three-packs, with names including OG Kush, Super Silver Haze and Wedding Cake. The classic construction adds concentrate and kief to flower, making the finished piece stronger than a plain pre-roll. Naked Fuzzies keep an infused core without the external kief layer. Consumers should read the package carefully because size, infusion method and total potency differ across the family.

An infused pre-roll contains more than ground flower, and the added concentrate can change burn behavior as well as cannabinoid strength. Exterior kief can shed during handling, while a center core may heat unevenly if the pre-roll is held or lit improperly. A product name does not establish an exact dose. The batch label, total cannabinoids, piece count and weight provide the useful comparison between formats.

High-C, Sneaker and Dosies

Sublime’s wider catalog historically included High-C cartridges and concentrates, Sneaker vape batteries and Dosies low-dose mints. Chef Dennis Lee, known for the San Francisco restaurant Namu Gaji, led the edibles manufacturing operation during the brand’s expansion. These categories involve different ingredients and handling. A mint, cartridge and infused pre-roll should never be treated as equivalent simply because they share a manufacturer name.

2018 financing and growth

Alex Fang led Sublime when it announced a $6.2 million Series A round in May 2018. The financing was intended for equipment, staffing and new-product development. An earlier Hempcon Cup Finals result recognized a Sublime cartridge in 2017. Funding and awards document the company’s growth period and entered products, but neither guarantees the availability or quality of a later batch under different ownership.

Harborside and Smoakland

Harborside completed its acquisition of Sublime in July 2021 in a transaction valued at approximately $43.8 million. In March 2024, Smoakland announced an all-cash acquisition covering Sublime’s team, manufacturing facility and license. Those transactions mark changes in corporate control and production context. Buyers should use the license, manufacturer and distributor printed on today’s sealed package rather than assuming an older operator remains responsible.

Where it operates

Sublime products belong in California’s licensed cannabis channel. Retailer menus and marketplace pages can help with discovery, but inventory, formulation and ownership-linked packaging can change. Consumers should confirm the responsible license, batch identifiers, ingredients, total cannabinoids and warnings on the product in hand. Infused pre-rolls and concentrates call for cautious use, secure storage and avoiding driving or operating equipment while impaired.

Brand focus

From Oakland, CA, Sublime brings infused pre-rolls, vape cartridges and cannabis concentrates together under one brand. infused pre-rolls anchors the public identity, while vape cartridges and cannabis concentrates shows how the catalog extends across formats and markets.
