Cindy 99 Diamonds is Summit Boys' crystallized-THCA take on Cinderella 99 — one of the genuinely historic cultivars in modern breeding, run here as slow-grown diamonds in sauce.
Who Makes It
Summit Boys have run since 2016, starting under Prop 215, and are known as The Original White Caviar. Their line is solvent-based throughout, and they took 14 awards at the 2019 Bay Area Cannabis Cup including Best Product.
Where It Comes From
Cinderella 99 comes from MrSoul — Rick Campanella — at Brothers Grimm Seeds, and the origin is documented breeding history rather than folklore. The line is Princess crossed with P94: Princess was grown from a seed found in Jack Herer bud in Amsterdam in 1996, then crossed with a resinous Shiva Skunk male and cubed through P.50, P.75, P.88, and P.94. Watch the name — DNA Genetics markets a separate Cinderella 99 that isn't this line.
How It's Made
Diamonds are crystallized THCA, grown by holding extract in a controlled environment and cooling it slowly — on the order of a degree per hour — so large, well-formed crystals have time to develop. They're sold together with the terpene-rich liquid they grew in, the sauce; that retained fraction is what separates them from stripped THCA isolate. Isolate wins on purity, diamonds win on flavor.
The High Rise Take
A legendary cut with an honest lineage — and the breeder himself flags it can push paranoia, which lands harder in a concentrate than in flower, so keep the first dab small. See the Cindy 99 strain profile, compare Banana Fritter Diamonds, or browse the High Rise concentrate library.
