Do Zi Doz Rosin

Brand: Punch Extracts

Type: rosin

Do Zi Doz Rosin is a Punch Extracts press named for one of the most crowded spellings in cannabis. Do-Si-Dos, Dosidos, Dozizoz, Do Z Dos — the variants belong to different breeders and different crosses, and the space between them is not a typo.

Watch The Spelling

The anchor plant is Dosidos, Archive Seed Bank's cross of OGKB with Face Off OG BX1. That is the one with a paper trail, and it is the parent most of the family's reputation actually rests on.

The rest diverge quickly. LusoDream's Do-Zi-Doz Kush is (Dos-i-Dos x Zkittlez) crossed with Rollex OG Kush, feminised only, on a 60 to 70 day flower. Pheno Finder's Do Z Dos comes from Sour Do-Si-Dos crossed with Z3. Those are separate plants that happen to sound alike out loud, and no jar spelling is precise enough to tell you which one you have.

So read the package rather than the name, and treat a confident lineage claim on a menu with suspicion — the spelling on the label is the least reliable thing about this family.

How It's Made

Rosin is pressed with heat and pressure and no hydrocarbon solvent. Hash rosin starts from separated ice-water resin rather than whole flower, which carries less plant material through the press.

The label reads rosin rather than live rosin, so fresh-frozen starting material is not being claimed.

Who Makes It

Punch Edibles & Extracts operates from Los Angeles, founded in 2013, running in California, Oklahoma, and New York. Their solventless catalog grades live rosin Tier 1 through 4 and credits named farm partners on the jar.

The High Rise Take

The family is worth knowing and this particular jar is worth buying on the producer. Compare the documented side on Dosi Dos Badder, see Cherry Dosi, or browse the High Rise concentrate library.
