Who Makes It
Punch Edibles & Extracts was founded in Los Angeles in 2013 and operates in California, Oklahoma, and New York. Their solventless catalog grades live rosin Tier 1 through 4, and releases credit the partner farm by name.
How It's Made
Rosin is pressed with heat and pressure and no hydrocarbon solvent. Hash rosin starts from ice-water hash rather than whole flower: resin is washed off the plant with ice and water, dried, and then pressed. That separation step is why hash rosin generally tastes cleaner than flower rosin and produces less of it.
The label reads rosin rather than live rosin. "Live" would specify material frozen at or near harvest instead of dried and cured, and that claim is not being made here.
Texture is set after pressing. A fresh press reads glossy and slightly wet; agitation through a cold cure sets it opaque and spreadable; extended purging dries it toward crumble. None of those states is a quality grade, and colour is not one either — filtration, maturity, storage, oxidation, and age all move it.
