The Lineup Logic
Tyler curates it himself, which is why it always surprises. The bill pulls from hip-hop, R&B, pop and whatever else he genuinely rates, so the range is wider than a rap festival. Past editions have produced secret-guest moments that broke the internet before the set ended.
It Is An Actual Carnival
The rides, food and art installations are not set dressing — they are why people arrive early and stay all day. Treating it as a two-set-and-leave festival misses most of what you paid for.
The Crowd
Flog Gnaw draws one of the most devoted audiences in Los Angeles. They know every word, they dress for it, and they are there from open to close. If you have never been, the room is half the reason to go.
