The Show
Cypress Hill lands at the Pacific Amphitheatre inside the OC Fair on July 29, 2026, bringing their Once Upon a Time in the Summer tour to Costa Mesa. The West Coast's loudest, most unapologetically stoned rap group plays an outdoor stage a few steps from the fair midway, and every concert ticket includes same-day admission to the fair itself.
Thirty-Five Years In
Thirty-five years deep, B-Real, Sen Dog and DJ Muggs built the blueprint for cannabis in hip-hop. Live, they lean into the low end and the crowd — expect the classics that turned a South Gate crew into Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, from Insane in the Brain and Hits from the Bong to Dr. Greenthumb and Rock Superstar, plus deep cuts for the day-ones.
This is the full-production summer-amphitheater version: warm night, reserved seats up front, general-admission fair energy spilling in around the edges.
Make a Day of It
Because the ticket doubles as fair admission, the night is really two events. Ride the OC Fair, eat your way down the midway, then walk into the amphitheatre for the show. The Pacific Amphitheatre is outdoor, so bring a layer for after dark. Parking fills fast on fair weekends — budget extra time or plan a rideshare into Costa Mesa, and check the fair's bag and re-entry rules before you head out.
Before You Go
One thing to know: this is a licensed county-fairground event, not a consumption event. There's no on-site smoking or sales — keep it in the culture, not the venue, and it runs inside an all-ages fair. Cypress Hill at a fair amphitheatre in late July is about as Southern California as a summer night gets. Grab reserved seats if you want the show up close, or lean into the fair-admission angle and make a full day of it.
