The Farmers Cup 710 Edition is San Diego’s concentrates-only cannabis competition, and its Awards Sesh goes down Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Four Points by Sheraton San Diego on Aero Drive in Kearny Mesa. It’s a people’s choice format built for hash heads, budtenders and brands who want to see how California concentrates stack up when everyday consumers do the scoring.
How the judging works
Judging is open to the public, but you have to be 21 or older. Judges buy a kit for a category, pick it up at an assigned dispensary and get seven to 14 days to score every product, with room for notes on aesthetics, aroma, taste and effects. Kits hold samples from each competing brand plus instructions and ballots, and judges may not vote for themselves or any brand they’re tied to. No exceptions.
Kits run $100 to $750 depending on the category and bundle, and supply is limited. For this edition, brand entries closed Wednesday, August 19, and kit pickup ran August 22–25, so the at-home scoring wraps before the trophies come out. The official flyer also bills in-person blind judging on the day itself.
What happens at the Awards Sesh
General doors open at noon and the day runs until 9 PM, with VIP holders getting in at 11:30 AM. The program stacks the awards ceremony with educational panels, live music, brand activations, networking and a lineup of food vendors. Think of it as the in-person payoff for weeks of people scoring hash at home.
New this round is Munchies Madness, a foodie competition where ticket holders judge more than 10 food pop-ups and trucks across savory, dessert and drink categories. Judge tickets for that side contest include VIP lounge access.
Tickets and entry
Tickets run through EventHi. General admission is $25 plus fees. VIP is $70 plus fees and adds early entry, a VIP bag, all-day VIP lounge access and a custom shirt. Munchies Madness judge tickets are $40 plus fees. Licensed dispensary staff get free GA entry with valid ID showing they’re 21 or older and a recent work badge from their store. Sales are final, with no refunds.
