This beloved Labor Day weekend tradition combines world-class chili tasting with a full music festival, carnival rides, games, and family-friendly fun on the Malibu Civic Center grounds.

What to Expect
The Malibu Chili Cook-Off has been a Labor Day weekend staple for over four decades, drawing thousands of visitors to the Malibu Civic Center for chili tasting competitions, a full carnival with rides and games, live music across multiple stages, food vendors, craft booths, and a classic small-town fair atmosphere set against the backdrop of the Santa Monica Mountains and Pacific Ocean.
