The MJBizCon Innovation Awards announces its 2026 winners at noon on Thursday, December 3, on the Innovation Stage at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The inaugural programme brings cannabis products, equipment and business technology into one judged showcase. For attendees already exploring MJBizCon, it provides a specific midday stop to see which finalists receive recognition across the industry.

The finalists

Ten listed award categories cover the work behind cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, packaging, retail and professional services. The published finalists include equipment makers and technology providers, with named products attached to most entries. The range makes the programme relevant to growers, brand teams, dispensary operators and businesses looking at the tools that support their next stage of work.

Cultivation has two dedicated areas of recognition. Canapa / Paxiom’s JuanaPack and Pipp Horticulture’s VAS 2.0 In-Rack Airflow System appear under Equipment & Materials Technology. The Genetics Advancement category names Indica Genomics and Sour Blue Lemonade. Together, those categories cover both the equipment used in production and developments in the plant itself.

The Environmental Impact finalists are Airbotx’s Airbotx 440X and Octave’s Battery Free Vape. Hardware & Device Innovation names Dispensify’s Giosk 32C Curve Kiosk and EFLO LLC’s Electric Filter, also listed as E-Filter. These are separate categories in the organizer’s programme, giving environmental work and product-delivery technology their own places in the awards.

Manufacturing Excellence includes Outlaw Technology’s Desperado Case-Level RFID Handheld and Xylem Robotics’ Xylem AX. Packaging Ingenuity names Chubby Gorilla’s X3 Pouch Container and Tap Tubes. Precision X-Ray’s SteriRad appears in Lab Services Transformation. The awards place those manufacturing, packaging and laboratory entries alongside the retail-facing finalists.

Retail Experience brings together Dispensify’s Giosk 32 Cash and the Dutchie Consumer AI Suite. Business Services Imagination lists Cannabiz Credit Association’s Cannabis Credit Reporting and the Flowhub MCP Connector. The Innovator of the Year category names Dana Shoched of O2VAPE and Charles MacGowan, extending the programme’s recognition to people as well as products and systems.

How the programme works

The published judging process begins with MJBizCon and MJBizDaily staff and continues with members of the MJBizCon Advisory Councils. Category finalists are honoured at the show, where winners are announced. The organizer also describes an overall Innovation of the Year selection drawn from the winners of the product categories.

The competition is limited to contracted 2026 exhibitors based in the United States or Canada. Its product window covers items introduced, or planned for launch, between January 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027. Applications and evaluation precede the December announcement, so the noon gathering is the opportunity to see the results of that process.

Stage access and tickets

The Innovation Stage is on the MJBizCon 2026 expo floor and is powered by Flowhub. Stage sessions are accessible with any MJBizCon ticket. The Expo Only Pass is currently listed at $299 plus applicable charges, rising to $399 after November 1. It includes three days of expo access; conference sessions and opening general sessions require the appropriate broader pass.

The venue address is 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109. The awards announcement begins at 12 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on December 3. Bring your MJBizCon admission and include the Innovation Stage in your Thursday plans if the named products, retail tools or cultivation entries are among the areas you want to follow.

MJBizCon admits attendees aged 18 and older, and ticket sales are final and non-refundable. The show prohibits possession, use and distribution of THC products, including Delta-8 and Delta-9 products. This is an industry recognition programme within the expo, with the finalists and winner announcement providing its focus.
