West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval
West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is the city’s annual public Halloween street festival on Santa Monica Boulevard. Launched in 1987, it centers on elaborate costumes, self-expression and the Rainbow District’s nightlife culture. The official visitor guide describes a recurring spectacle of costumes, entertainment and creative performances. Each dated edition carries its own confirmed hours, street boundaries, access rules and transportation plan. The 2026 edition is scheduled for October 31, from 6 to 11 p.m., between North Doheny Drive and North La Cienega Boulevard, with a live DJ stage and food trucks. Admission to the public street festival is free and does not require a ticket. The series covers the City of West Hollywood’s Carnaval. Separate bar, hotel, restaurant and club celebrations retain their own programmes and entry conditions. The city’s event page provides the current edition’s practical information.
