Mint Cannabis is hiring a Compliance Operations Lead in Phoenix, Arizona. The Compliance Lead provides support and coordinates efforts to ensure the company operates within all state and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations across every division of the business and across all states of operation. Responsibilities include helping keep state compliance training manuals and required trainings current, supporting the internal mock audit program, assisting operations with evaluating observations and root cause analysis, aiding development of corrective actions, performing follow-up on audit observations, and tracking responses while monitoring implementation. Knowledge of applicable cannabis laws, rules, and regulations is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business, compliance, or a related field is preferred. The role calls for strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and excellent oral and written communication. Frequent travel is required (up to 75%), including availability for last-minute assignments and the ability to remain on-site up to four weeks at a time.
