The Atomic9 is Cloudious9's portable dry herb vaporizer: a pocket-sized flower device that heats instead of burns, using a dual-layer system that combines convection and conduction heating. It runs six temperature settings from 356°F to 428°F on a 900mAh battery, all inside an anodized aluminum body just under 4 inches tall.
Cloudious9 currently lists the Atomic9 as sold out in both Black and Gray on its own store, and Smoke Cartel shows both colors sold out as well. The last list price on both stores is $69.99.
How the Atomic9 heats
Cloudious9 calls its setup "Dual Layer" heating and lists it as patent pending. Conduction warms the chamber walls while convection pushes heated air through the load, so the device leans on both methods at once rather than picking one.
Heat-up to the 356°F starting point takes about 30 seconds, according to the maker. The chamber measures 10mm across and 18mm deep, which keeps loads small and sessions quick. One button handles power and temperature, so there is no screen or menu to work through.
Cooling path and loading
The mouthpiece attaches magnetically and pops off to reveal a detachable rapid vapor cooling chamber. That extra room gives vapor space to shed heat before it reaches the mouthpiece, and the removable part makes the path easy to clean.
Loading is built in. A retractable herb loading shovel slides out of the body, so there is no separate tool to lose. Pack the chamber, snap the mouthpiece back on, pick a setting and wait for the heat-up.
Battery and daily use
The 900mAh lithium-ion battery charges in 2 to 2.5 hours and is rated by Cloudious9 for 9 to 12 sessions per charge. At 2.6 ounces and 1.45 by 3.85 by 0.88 inches, it fits a front pocket without printing like a full-size unit.
Six fixed steps between 356°F and 428°F let you run the same load at a lower setting first and step it up as the session goes on, a common way to get more out of one pack.
Where it sits in the lineup
Cloudious9 also makes the Tectonic9 auto-dispensing grinder, and the brand has sold the two together as its Combo9 bundle. A consistent grind matters with a chamber this small.
In the same budget lane, the G Pen Dash is the closest comparison. Step up in price and the Boundless Vexil or the Arizer Solo III bring more battery and more temperature control.
