The Edge SE is the Slide Edition, the current revision of the Fury Edge, and what it adds over the V2 is pass-through charging and sliding magnetic mouthpieces.
What It Actually Does
The heater runs full hot-air convection with a slight amount of radiant heat, which means air passes through the material rather than cooking it from underneath. Extraction stays even across the bowl and you never need to stir. Heat-up is about 20 seconds, close enough to on-demand that a single hit is practical.
Everything in the vapor path is isolated and food grade: a glass vapor path, a stainless steel air path, a stainless steel chamber and a stainless steel heating coil, all inside an alloy unibody. The 11mm chamber holds roughly 0.175 to 0.205 grams, so it is built around short solo sessions rather than passing it around a room.
Controls and Battery
An OLED flip screen handles the readout, haptic feedback tells you when it is ready, and the session timer is adjustable between three and seven minutes so the device shuts itself down instead of burning battery. Three clicks power it on and off; one click checks the battery while it is off.
The 2300mAh Class A lithium polymer cell gives roughly 70 to 85 minutes of use per charge and refills over USB-C in 75 to 90 minutes. Pass-through charging means you can keep running it while it is plugged in.
