Claude Mini Dab Rig

Brand: MJ Arsenal

Price: $42

The Claude is a 5.5-inch double-uptake recycler dab rig from MJ Arsenal in 100% borosilicate glass, on a 10mm joint. Water is routed through aqueduct-style arms into two clear turbines, and the box includes a quartz bucket and a flat carb cap.

MJ Arsenal named it after an inventor of the Roman aqueduct system, which is a fair description of what the glass actually does: it moves water along visible channels rather than just holding it in a chamber.

How the recycler works

Water enters low, climbs the two uptake arms, and cycles back down continuously. Constant motion is what keeps the water turbulent, and turbulent water strips more heat out of vapor than still water does.

The two turbines are where that becomes visible — the spin is genuinely part of the cooling, not just something to look at. The asymmetrical, protruding-arm shape is a consequence of routing the water that way.

A built-in oil catcher sits under the banger to reclaim anything that runs back, and a compact chamber beneath it keeps the vapor path short so the last of a dab still lands.

The complex curves double as grip points, and the wide base makes it close to spill-proof — which matters on a recycler, because there is water in more places than on a simple rig.

Who it suits

A recycler at this price is the reason to look. Recycling is normally a feature you pay up for, and getting it in an entry-tier mini rig is the Claude's actual argument.

It suits a first serious dab rig, and it suits anyone who wants the cooling of moving water without a piece that owns the table. It is also easy to clean for a recycler, which is not a given.

The honest limits: the 10mm joint means 14mm bangers will not fit, and more water paths mean more places for residue to set up than on a plain rig — a recycler rewards a regular soak.

Across the range, the Atlas is the simpler honeycomb-perc option at the same price, the Infinity pairs a fab-egg body with the same recycler idea, and the Titan is the larger step up. For adults 21 and over.
