Lola Lola is a cannabis brand founded in 2015 in San Francisco by Michael Garganese Jr. and his father, Mike Garganese Sr. It became known for design-led, effect-named pre-roll packs alongside flower, cartridges and concentrates, selling under the line "Feel Good Cannabis." Products carrying the name are now sold through licensed New York retail.
Founders and launch
Michael Jr. left a Google sales and marketing role in 2014 to build the business with Mike Sr., and served as chief executive. The company worked with Northern California growers and pushed into dispensaries from 2016, using custom point-of-sale displays and a forty-foot traveling sales bus called the Wanderlodge to open accounts.
Effect-led pre-roll system
The catalog organizes pre-roll blends around occasions and feelings, with names including Calm, Relax, Mingle, Imagine, Trance and Transcend, across CBD, THC and hash-infused tiers. Formats run from half-gram infused singles to 1.5-gram and 2-gram three-packs. Packages carry cannabinoid and terpene information alongside the effect name.
Concentrates and Golden Clear
Beyond pre-rolls, the range has covered flower, strain-specific CO2 cartridges, disposable vapes and concentrates. Golden Clear is the company's own refinement process, described as removing fats and lipids from oil to produce material in the 80 to 90 percent THC range.
Design
Bright graphics, compact packaging and the Lolalandia concept positioned the brand for shoppers who did not identify with older cannabis aesthetics, paired with strain guides and cannabinoid education.
New York
Licensed New York retailers list Lola Lola Iced Sangria and Sour Gorilla one-gram live rosin budder, both solventless.
