The numbers moved fast. Inc. ranked the parent company, IHC Investments, No. 647 on its 2026 Inc. 5000 list on 529% three-year growth.
IHC Investments and the people behind The Hemp Collect
Inc. lists IHC Investments as a Portland consumer products company founded in 2019. It describes the business as a manufacturer of craft cannabis products under several brands, with Modern Herb Co named first. Before the 2026 national ranking, Inc. placed the company No. 47 on its 2024 Inc. Regionals Pacific list.
The Hemp Collect's own about page names two people. Von Dellinger handles retail strategy, the customer journey, product development and brand development. Joel Thompson came over from Oregon's regulated market, where the company says he managed recreational cannabis processing and distribution. The brand line on mhcogoods.com is short: goods made to superior standards by people who care.
Black Sheep, Hi-Lites, Happy Human and a wholesale desk
Modern Herb Co is the lead label, but it shares the shelf with three sister brands: Black Sheep, Hi-Lites and Happy Human. Black Sheep handles THCp pre-rolls, with one-gram Lemonhead, Grape Runtz and Strawberry Gelato joints at $7. The Hemp Collect puts its customer count at more than 500,000.
Leafly frames the company as a bulk wholesale supplier that sells direct to consumers under the Modern Herb Co name. The wholesale site calls itself the wholesale portal for The Hemp Collect and lists 203 Modern Herb Co products. Pricing and checkout open only to approved wholesale accounts.
The retail store also carries outside hardware. Puffco sits in the lineup with its Peak smart e-rig at $220 and its heated Hot Knife loading tool at $50.
Uncut live resin, liquid diamonds and rosin pods
Vapes are the core of the catalog. The pitch is 100% live resin, made from fresh-frozen THCa-rich hemp, and the company says its extract is full-spectrum live resin rather than terpenes labeled as live resin. Its Leafly page adds that the live resin is hand harvested, flower-only and extracted from material that was never dried.

Pre-rolls are one gram each at $8. The rotation covers OG Kush, Sour Chem, Papaya, G41, Carbon Fiber and Sour Diesel, all sold as THCa flower joints under the Modern Herb Co label.
Gummies, caramels, chocolate and craft soda
