Garlic Cookies and GMO are the same genetics under different names. Chemdawg D crossed with the GSC Forum cut. It is also the one cultivar in this part of the library with genuine solventless competition placements attached to it.
Who Makes It
Punch Edibles & Extracts runs out of Los Angeles, founded 2013, operating in California, Oklahoma, and New York. Their solventless line is graded Tier 1 through 4, and releases are made with named farm partners — Luma Farms and Redwood Valley Farms among them — credited on the jar.
They also supplied the hash for what was reported as the first solventless hash-infused brownie on the California market, made with Dr. Norm's.

Breeder credit is genuinely tangled. Three separate seed lines circulate under overlapping names: Garlic Cookies from Pure Instinto, GMO Cookies from Mamiko Seeds, and GMO Cookies from Skunk House Genetics.
The plant also travels as GMO, GMO Cookies, Garlic Mushroom Onion, and Chem Cookies.
How It's Made
Rosin is pressed with heat and pressure, no solvent. Hash rosin presses ice-water hash rather than whole flower.
This cultivar's wash reputation has a physical basis: thick trichome cuticles and weak necks mean the resin heads separate cleanly in an ice-water wash instead of bursting. That is why it turns up so consistently in solventless catalogs rather than only in hydrocarbon ones.

Caryophyllene, limonene, and myrcene lead the terpene order. Effects run relaxed, sleepy, and euphoric with a heavy body character, sedating at higher amounts. THC figures for flower land between 28 and 32 percent and do not transfer to concentrate.
What It Left Behind
Here there is a real record, though it belongs to extractors rather than to the cultivar. Rosin Tech Labs publishes 7th place Live Rosin at the 2021 Emerald Cup and 5th place Live Rosin at the 2022 Emerald Cup, both for Garlic Cookies. Separately, Papa's Select took 3rd in Emerald Cup Solventless with a GMO first-pull 120u water hash.
