Chem Cookies Rosin

Brand: Punch Extracts

Type: rosin

Chem Cookies Rosin is Punch Extracts' solventless press of the Chemdawg-by-Cookies cross that sits at the root of the GMO family — the older name on one of cannabis's most famous plants, run here as hash rosin.

Who Makes It

Punch Edibles & Extracts is a Los Angeles operation founded in 2013, now running in California, Oklahoma, and New York. They moved from edibles into craft solventless extraction and grade rosin Tier 1 through 4, working with named farm partners credited on the jar.

Where It Comes From

Chem Cookies is a Chemdawg crossed with Girl Scout Cookies — the same genetic family that later travelled as Garlic Cookies and GMO. It's the earlier name on that lineage, and it's part of why the GMO family looms as large as it does in solventless.

How It's Made

Rosin is pressed with heat and pressure and no hydrocarbon solvent, from separated ice-water resin rather than whole flower. The Chem-and-Cookies family washes notably well for a structural reason: thick trichome cuticles with weak necks mean the heads detach cleanly rather than rupturing during an ice-water wash.

The High Rise Take
