Spritzer is the cultivar Society C presses hardest, and this is that plant as a solventless badder. Cannarado Genetics built the cross, the Michigan team washed and pressed it, and the result lands purple, grape-forward and thick enough to scoop.
Three lines feeding one plant
Spritzer comes out of Cannarado Genetics in Colorado, and it is a three-way cross: Runtz paired into Grape Pie and MAC. Each side is carrying weight, which is why the finished plant is more complicated than its grape-candy first impression.
Runtz descends from Gelato #33 and Zkittlez, and it reset what dessert cannabis was allowed to taste like. Grape Pie is Cannarado's own work, Cherry Pie crossed into Grape Stomper. MAC is Capulator's Miracle Alien Cookies, still one of the most structurally interesting plants in the American catalog.

Who Society C is
Society C launched in Michigan in 2019 under Natrabis, founded by three operators who came up through the state's caregiver system: Nick Simpson, Ben Puraj and Michael Thomas. Their Orion Township facility opened in 2021 at 54,000 square feet, with an on-site lab handling concentrates in house.
The solventless line runs on ice, water, heat and pressure, nothing else, from single-sourced flower. That last detail is the one that matters. Single-sourcing means the hash traces back to one run of one plant rather than a blend, and blending is where most hash loses its edge.
What live hash rosin badder actually means
Three things happened in sequence. Ice-water hash was washed from fresh-frozen material. That hash went between heated plates under pressure and came out as rosin. The rosin was then agitated through a cold cure until it set opaque and spreadable.
The word live is doing real work in that chain. Badder is simply where the texture landed at the end.
The cup Michigan gave it
Society C's Spritzer flower took 1st place in Adult Use Indica Flower at the 2023 High Times Cannabis Cup Michigan, People's Choice edition. That trophy belongs to the flower, not to this jar, but it says something useful about what goes onto the plates: the input is the same plant a room full of Michigan consumers voted to the top.
The brand's solventless hardware from that same event belongs to a different product. Pastries took 3rd in Non-Solvent Concentrates, and it is the honest comparison point if you want Society C's award-winning press rather than its award-winning flower.
How it presents
Bag appeal runs heavily purple, and the badder texture holds that color better than a glassy press would. Flavor is grape up front with the cookie structure of the MAC side arriving late.
