Easy Star All-Stars: Dub Side of the Moon Live at The Regent Theater

Date: 2026-10-21T20:00:00

Location: The Regent Theater, 448 S Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Organizer: The Regent Theater

Easy Star All-Stars bring Dub Side of the Moon Live to The Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show starts at 8:00 PM. The night is 18+ only, with Double Tiger as special guest and DJ Boss Harmony on the bill, and it is aimed at reggae heads, Floyd lifers and anyone who likes their low end heavy.

Dub Side of the Moon is Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon rebuilt from the ground up as reggae and dub. It could have landed as a novelty. Instead it became a staple, the kind of record that gets passed between friends for years and still sounds right late at night.

The reason it works is patience. Dark Side was always a record about space, echo and slow build, and dub has spent decades perfecting exactly that. Money, Time and Us and Them settle naturally onto a one-drop groove, and The Great Gig in the Sky finds a different kind of ache when the bass takes the lead.

The live show reaches past the one album. Easy Star All-Stars have also reworked music by Radiohead, David Bowie, The Beatles and Michael Jackson, and those reggae re-inventions share the night with the Floyd material, so expect a few curveballs between the familiar cuts.

Special guest Double Tiger brings a roots reggae set, and DJ Boss Harmony rounds out the bill. If you have only heard Dub Side through headphones, the live version is the one to catch: bass you can feel in your chest and a crowd that came for the long, slow build.

The Regent sits at 448 South Main Street in downtown LA's Historic Core. It is a cashless venue, so bring a card or phone wallet. Upgrade add-ons include a VIP premium viewing deck and mezzanine bleacher seating, and ADA accommodations can be arranged through the venue's access team before the show.

Tickets are on sale now through The Regent's official event page. The 18+ policy is firm, so bring a valid photo ID. Dub Side has been a late-night fixture in cannabis culture for years, but venue rules apply inside The Regent, so keep any consumption legal, 21+ and off-site.

Reggae fans can also catch Slightly Stoopid: Cali Road Trippin in Paso Robles on October 8. Three nights after The Regent, Día de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever takes over on October 24, and there is more across the city when you browse upcoming events on The High Rise Co.
