Slightly Stoopid: Cali Road Trippin

Date: 2026-10-08T00:00:00-07:00

Location: Vina Robles Amphitheatre (Paso Robles), Frost Amphitheater (Palo Alto) & Thunder Valley (Lincoln), CA

Slightly Stoopid takes its Cali Road Trippin 2026 run through three California amphitheaters this October, a homecoming stretch for the Ocean Beach band that has spent 25 years turning reggae, punk, hip-hop, and blues into one of the West Coast's most enduring live acts. The run hits Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles on Thursday, October 8; Frost Amphitheater on the Stanford campus in Palo Alto on Friday, October 9; and Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, near Sacramento, on Saturday, October 10.

If you grew up on California cannabis culture, Slightly Stoopid is part of the soundtrack. Formed in San Diego and signed by Sublime's Bradley Nowell before his death, the band built its following the hard way — relentless touring, no radio, and a genre-blind sound that pulls from ska, funk, reggae, and sound-system dub. Their shows are long, loose, and built for open-air amphitheaters exactly like these.

The supporting bill travels with them: The Elovaters and DENM provide support across the run, with The Hip Abduction joining for the Frost Amphitheater date. It is a lineup made for a warm California evening on the grass — roots-forward, easygoing, and heavy on the low end.

Each stop is a distinctly different night out. Vina Robles sits in Central Coast wine country, Frost is a storied Stanford venue with a natural-bowl layout, and Thunder Valley pairs the show with a full resort in the Sacramento foothills. Pick the one closest to you or make a mini-road-trip of it, which is exactly what the tour name suggests.

These are relaxed, 21+-leaning amphitheater shows with the cannabis-adjacent crowd Slightly Stoopid draws everywhere they play. Tickets are per-show through each venue and the band's official tour page. For more California concerts and cannabis-culture events, browse the full High Rise events calendar.
