Hall of Flowers opens its California edition at Cal Expo in Sacramento on Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5, 2026. It's an industry-only B2B cannabis trade show where licensed brands, retail buyers, distributors and ancillary companies meet to discover product, build relationships and do real business. The show floor at the Cal Expo Pavilion, 1600 Exposition Blvd, is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days.
A new home in the capital
After eight years in Santa Rosa, Hall of Flowers moved the California show to Sacramento for 2026. Co-founder Rama Mayo points to the practical wins, from easier flights to hotels close to the venue, and the team frames the capital as home base for many of the retailers, operators and brands shaping California's market.
Tactical talks, not panels
Presented with Budist, Tactical Talks swaps panels for a classroom: someone who runs a business stands up and teaches for twenty minutes, no introductions. Six sessions across both days cover credit, margin, private label, merchandising, story and partnerships, starting Wednesday at noon with Kraig Fox of Reklaim and Lauren Carpenter of Embarc on why cannabis runs on trade credit.

Cannabis on the floor
California's DCC and Sacramento's cannabis office set the rules. Free samples are prohibited under state regulations, and product on display is for inspection and education only. Exhibitors that sample and sell do it through a centralized dispensary operated by the show's licensed retail partner or through licensed in-booth sales, and consumption is limited to designated exterior zones, never indoors.
