Hall of Flowers brings its California show to Cal Expo in Sacramento on Wednesday, November 4 and Thursday, November 5, 2026. It is an industry-only cannabis trade show where licensed brands, retail buyers, distributors and operators meet to discover product, build partnerships and do business. The show runs 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days at the Cal Expo Pavilion, 1600 Exposition Blvd.
Who produces it
Hall of Flowers has produced cannabis trade shows since 2018, and the organizer describes it as the leading cannabis trade show in the United States. Its stated mission is to create a platform in cannabis for product discovery, partnership building and commerce. The company also runs a New York edition and has staged shows in Palm Springs and Ventura.
A new home in Sacramento
After eight years in Santa Rosa, Hall of Flowers moved its Northern California show to Sacramento for 2026, the first time the event has been held in the capital. Co-founder Rama Mayo has said the goal is to evolve the experience completely, not just relocate it. The move also shifts the NorCal show to a November slot.
Who can attend
Admission is 21 and over, and the show is for industry professionals only. Licensed retailers can apply separately for complimentary tickets. Everyone else buys a pass, and the organizer notes that a limited number of tickets are available to qualified attendees.
Tickets
The Industry Ticket covers both days, November 4 and 5, and was listed at a $450 early bird rate. It requires approved operator status through an application and approval. The organizer states that this pass is not intended for agencies, service providers or solicitors, and no on-site solicitation or service pitching is permitted.
A Day 2 Only ticket covers Thursday, November 5, with full access to the trade show floor and brand booths. It is open to anyone in the industry with no application required, listed at $200 early bird and $295 standard, subject to availability.
Cannabis on the show floor
California regulations prohibit free samples, and staff working cannabis booths must wear state-issued identification badges. Exhibitors that sell choose one of two routes: a centralized dispensary staffed by professionals, which requires no retail license, or in-booth sales for larger booth formats run by exhibitors that hold retail licenses.
Consumption is limited to designated exterior zones. There is no smoking or vaping indoors.
Getting there and where to stay
Cal Expo sits at 1600 Exposition Blvd in Sacramento, and the exhibitor materials direct arrivals to Lot D at the Blue Gate. Hall of Flowers holds room blocks for exhibitors and buyers at three hotels.
The Hilton Sacramento Arden West is steps from Cal Expo. The Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Cal Expo is minutes from the grounds and about 3 miles from downtown. The Fort Sutter Hotel is in Midtown, a short drive away. The organizer recommends booking early to secure the negotiated rates.
