Slightly Stoopid closes out Cali Road Trippin 2026 at The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with The Elovaters and DENM opening. The show starts at 7:00 PM. It is the Sacramento-area stop and the last of the three Cali Road Trippin dates.
The Cali Road Trippin run
Cali Road Trippin is a three-night California swing. It opens October 8 at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, moves to Frost Amphitheater at Stanford on October 9, where The Hip Abduction joins the bill, and wraps in Lincoln on October 10. The Elovaters and DENM open all three nights.
The room
The Venue is Thunder Valley's indoor concert hall, with 4,500 seats spread across multi-level spaces inside 150,000 square feet of designed space. The resort highlights its sound and video systems, and concessions cover food, beer and wine. The reserved layout means you know where you are sitting before you walk in.
Getting there
The Venue sits inside Thunder Valley Casino Resort at 1200 Athens Avenue in Lincoln, northeast of Sacramento. On show nights and for sold-out concerts, the resort recommends arriving early to avoid heavy traffic, so build Saturday-night resort traffic and parking into the plan.
Tickets and entry
Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, linked from the resort's entertainment page. The Venue publishes its own bag policy, and all bags are subject to it. Weapons, recording devices, smart glasses, drugs, outside food and drink, tablets, noisemakers and signs are on the resort's prohibited items list.
The band
Slightly Stoopid comes into October with a busy year behind it. In June the band curated Field of Dreamz at Petco Park in its San Diego hometown, co-headlining with Sublime on a bill that also carried Stephen Marley, Pepper, The Elovaters and DENM.
A 10th studio album is on the way, and recent singles include Shine For You featuring G. Love, The Upside Down featuring B-Real and Chali 2na, and Step Into The Sun. The Elovaters and DENM, both on the Field of Dreamz bill, keep the opening sets in that same roots-heavy groove.
A note on the venue
Thunder Valley is a casino resort and this is a concert, not a cannabis consumption event. Follow the resort's rules, and line up a sober ride for the drive home. Check the official Thunder Valley site for last-minute changes.
More around Sacramento
Sacramento's fall calendar also carries Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park in early October and Hall of Flowers Sacramento at Cal Expo in November. For reggae and rock fans planning ahead, California Roots returns to the Monterey County Fairgrounds in May 2027.
