What Comes In The Box
The kit is complete out of the gate. You get the Sport itself, an Intelli-Core Oil atomizer, the Carta Connect airpath, a smoked Carta Glass top, a bubble cap and tether, a water-resistant carrying case, a silicone stopper, a loading tool, cleaning swabs, cleaning wipes, and the manual.
Four colorways are in production — Black, Teal, Tangerine and Lilac — all at the same $235. Focus V covers the device with a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
The Reclaim Fix Nobody Else Shipped
Carta Connect is the reason this thing is worth talking about. It's a removable silicone airpath, so the sticky reclaim that normally cements itself into the guts of an e-rig now collects in a part you can pull out and swap in seconds. No teardown, no cotton-swab archaeology, no downtime mid-session.
Anyone who has owned a portable rig for six months knows the failure mode: the airpath gums up, the draw tightens, and the flavor goes flat long before the atomizer dies. Making that path a consumable is a straightforwardly better design.
Running It
The V button handles the day-to-day with one-click operation — change your Sesh presets, start and stop heating cycles, check the battery. That's the whole interface, and most sessions never need more than that.
Pair it over Bluetooth and the V Browser app opens up the rest: custom temperature and session duration, firmware updates, uploadable screensavers, and a running dab count. It's genuinely useful for dialing in a temp you like, then irrelevant until you want to change something.
Battery And Staying Power
The Sport's battery is 35% larger than the one in the Carta 2, with faster charging and better cell balancing behind it. Focus V rates it at 50-plus dabs on a single charge, which is a weekend of normal use and several days of casual use.
Where It Lands
Focus V has always played the value-performance lane against Puffco's polish, and the Sport is the clearest version of that pitch yet. Against a Peak Pro at nearly double the money, you give up some finish and some ecosystem gloss and keep the things that decide whether a rig stays in rotation: real water filtration, swappable atomizers, app-level temperature control, and now an airpath you can actually clean.
It's the pick for someone who dabs regularly, wants the session tuned rather than preset, and would rather spend the difference on glass.
