The Honest Capsule is a modular bong that collapses into itself. Assembled it stands 10 inches tall; broken down it is 6 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide, small enough to travel with. It is built from shatter-resistant borosilicate glass, stainless steel and anodized aluminum, and every component on it is replaceable. $200.
What it actually does differently
Most bongs are one object. You either carry the whole thing or you leave it at home, and the only question is whether you own a case. The Capsule is built the other way around: it comes apart into its component pieces, and those pieces nest inside each other.
Collapsed, it measures 3.25 inches wide by 6 inches tall. Assembled, it is the same width at 10 inches. A 10-inch water pipe that packs down to six goes into a bag without a case built around it, and it goes back together without tools.
The build
Three materials are doing three different jobs here. Shatter-resistant borosilicate handles the water and the smoke path. Stainless steel and anodized aluminum take the structural load at the joins, which is exactly where a modular design either holds together or starts to wobble after a month.
A protective silicone base absorbs the knocks that take the bottom out of ordinary glass. The mouthpiece ships with a hygienic cover, which is a small detail that matters more on a piece designed to be carried and passed around than on one that lives on a shelf.
Cleaning and replacement parts
The whole bong comes apart, and that is the strongest practical argument for buying it. Cleaning a fixed-downstem piece means soaking the entire body and trusting that isopropyl reaches geometry you cannot see. Cleaning the Capsule means cleaning several short pieces you can look straight through.
Every part is replaceable, which changes the arithmetic on damage. On a sealed piece, one cracked component is a dead bong. Here it is a replacement order.

Price and finishes
$200 in Silver or Black. The finish names describe the metal hardware rather than the glass, which stays clear on both.
The nearest thing to it in the catalog is the other take-apart piece: Weeday's Modular Bong runs percolators and ice-catcher tubes and breaks down for dishwasher cleaning, but it does not collapse into itself. If you want design-led glass that stays in one piece, Session Goods' Designer Bong is the shelf option, and GRAV's Small Deco Beaker is the scientific-glass answer for less money.
