San Bernardino license revocation
A material compliance event applies to one former location. On March 18, 2026, the California Department of Cannabis Control revoked retailer license C10-0001386-LIC held by SB Pharma Holdings Inc., doing business as The Row House and Cake House at 1975 Diners Court in San Bernardino. The default order names Joseph Mierau and Ryan Mierau as owners.
The order followed allegations involving improperly recorded trade samples, failure to provide surveillance recordings, products with child-attractive packaging, expired goods, an inactive seller’s permit and failure to comply with a notice. This profile does not extend that revocation to every Cake House store: the current website lists other licenses and locations. Consumers should verify each location independently through the relevant state regulator.
Awards and founder limits
No reliable, itemized company award ledger was found in the current official site or regulatory record reviewed here. Danny Wise is documented as the person who set out to create the chain, and Berry as the executive who shaped the brand, but the network’s multi-entity structure makes a simplistic single-founder or single-owner label misleading. Store-level licenses are more precise.
