STIIIZY is a vertically integrated cannabis brand and dispensary operator founded in Los Angeles in 2017. It began with a proprietary pod-vape system and expanded into flower, infused pre-rolls, concentrates, edibles and its own retail stores. James Kim is co-founder and chief executive.
Pods, batteries and all-in-ones
The proprietary pod system remains central: STIIIZY pods pair with brand-specific batteries — BAR, Pro and Pro XL — rather than standard 510 hardware. Pod families include Original THC and Live Resin Liquid Diamonds, alongside all-in-one devices that combine oil and a rechargeable battery in a single sealed unit.
Flower, concentrates and edibles
Packaged flower is sold under the Exotics, Black Label and White Label lines, with pre-rolls and the 40's infused format alongside them. The 40's line uses flower infused with concentrate and coated in kief. Extracts cover live resin, live rosin, diamonds and shatter. Edibles run as Original, Sour, Lemonade, Tropical, Sleep and Superstar gummies. The company also sells apparel and accessories.
Retail footprint
STIIIZY operates its own dispensaries rather than reaching shelves through third-party retail alone. A January 2025 company release counted 41 retail stores in California and three in Michigan, products available in seven states — California, Nevada, Illinois, Michigan, Arizona, Missouri and New York — and more than 1,700 employees. The store list on the company's site now runs past 50 California locations.
Recall history
The California Department of Cannabis Control published a voluntary recall of STIIIZY Premium THC Pods vape cartridges on December 6, 2024 for Category I pesticide contamination. The notice names Ironworks Collective Inc., license CDPH-10003246, as the manufacturer.
Data breach notice
STIIIZY notified California customers that a point-of-sale processing vendor was compromised by an organized cybercrime group between roughly October 10 and November 10, 2024. The exposed data included names, addresses, dates of birth, driver's licence and passport details, photographs, signatures, medical cannabis cards and purchase records at four stores: Union Square and Mission in San Francisco, Alameda and Modesto.
