Cannabiotix, stamped CBX on the jar, is an indoor cannabis grower and extractor founded in Southern California in 2014 by cultivators Neema and JB. Samari and Eran Haroni own and operate it, and its active cultivation, manufacturing and distribution licenses sit in Los Angeles County. The lineup covers eighths and half ounces, pre-rolls, live resin and Cold Cure Live Rosin, all under the tagline "All We Know Is Heat."
The trophy shelf runs deep. CBX's awards page stretches from a 2013 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup win to a High Times Top 100 Most Influential nod in 2018.
Neema, JB and a 20-year genetic library
The company credits two cultivators, Neema and JB, with the founding, and says its genetic library has been maintained for more than 20 years. A tissue culture lab keeps older cultivars in rotation. The about page describes the current owner-operators, Samari and Eran Haroni, as childhood friends.
California license records fill in the corporate side. Higher Origins lists Adir Haroni, Eran Haroni and Neema Samari-Kermani as owners of Four Star Manufacturing LLC, the entity behind CBX's first cultivation and manufacturing licenses.
Hang-dried in the dark, trimmed by hand
CBX markets its flower as PGR-free and grown with natural and sustainable methods. Harvested plants hang-dry in complete darkness. Trimmers work by hand with a "revolve the stem" technique, and the finished flower is hand-sorted and hand-weighed for packaging. The company frames the whole post-harvest routine around trichome preservation.
The grow rooms run on staggered cycles to use off-peak electricity. A reclaimed-water system pulls up to 9,500 gallons a day from dehumidifier and air-conditioning condensate, and the company says about two-thirds of its water comes from that atmospheric capture.
Cups from Amsterdam to Los Angeles
The awards page reads mostly like a High Times Cannabis Cup résumé. White Walker OG took first in indica flower at the 2013 Amsterdam cup, and Super Silver Haze placed second in sativa flower in Los Angeles that year. In 2014, Thicc Mint Cookies won hybrid flower at the NorCal cup and placed third in Seattle.
The 2015 run was the busiest. At the Jamaica World Cup, White Walker OG won indica flower, Sunkist won sativa concentrate and Tropicanna placed second in sativa flower. Orange Crush won hybrid flower at the NorCal cup, Cherry Pie won indica flower at the Blazers Cup, and High Times gave CBX a Trailblazer Award in its Best Companies list.
At the 2016 Los Angeles cup, Master Kush won indica flower and Strawberry Lemonade won sativa flower. In 2017 Kush Mountains won hybrid flower at the High Times World Cup, with Casino Kush second in indica flower.
The 2017 LA Harvest Cup brought a concentrate collaboration with Loudpack. Master Kush won indica concentrate, and Sour Blue Candy and Lemon Burst each took second in hybrid concentrate. In 2018 High Times named Kush Mountains one of its Top Ten Strains of the Year and put CBX on its Top 100 Most Influential list.
From eighths to Cold Cure Live Rosin
Flower comes in eighths and half ounces, and the site lists more than 40 cultivars across indica, sativa and hybrid. The roster includes 98' Octane, Blue Flame OG, Cereal Milk, Dropane, Gluetopia, Grape Gasby, Jet Lag OG, Kush Mountains, L'Orange, Master Kush, Super Mango Haze, White Walker OG and Zereal Milk.
The extract side splits by process. Live resin arrives as sauce cartridges and concentrates such as terp sugar. The solventless line centers on Cold Cure Live Rosin, pressed from small-batch hash collected at 90 to 120 microns, in a limited first-wash tier and a full-spectrum second tier. A dry sift rosin is pressed through a 25-micron screen.
A Cannagram delivery menu in September 2026 priced CBX eighths at $50, half ounces of Cereal Milk and Blue Flame OG at $180, and 0.75-gram pre-rolls at $8. Cold Cure Live Rosin ran $42 to $66 a gram, and terp sugar $26.
The Nevada facility and Green Thumb
The Nevada side changed hands in 2019. That June, Green Thumb Industries closed its $290 million purchase of Integral Associates, the Las Vegas Sun reported. Integral owned three Essence dispensaries in the Las Vegas area plus the Desert Grown Farms and Cannabiotix Nevada facilities. The Sun described Desert Grown Farms as a 54,000-square-foot cultivation site and Cannabiotix Nevada as a 41,000-square-foot award-winning processing facility. CBX's own site still names California and Nevada as its markets.
Highatus and the 2026 license stack
Higher Origins' tracker, updated September 16, 2026, shows every CBX-linked California license active. Four Star Manufacturing LLC holds a medium indoor cultivation license with 22,000 square feet of canopy, issued in April 2019, plus a Type 7 manufacturing license from February 2019. Highstar LLC added a second medium indoor license in August 2023, and Highstar Manufacturing a Type 6 license that December.
Distribution runs through two more licenses. Four Star Distribution and Delivery LLC operates as Highatus, a name the CBX site bills as "powered by CBX," and Highstar Distribution added a second distributor license in November 2023. The CBX retailer finder routes delivery orders through Weedmaps. Its Weedmaps brand page lists dispensaries in Needles, El Centro, Indio, Palm Desert and Palm Springs.
Vibe by California updated its CBX brand page in March 2026, featuring Cereal Milk, Kush Mountains, Tropicanna, Super Silver Haze and White Walker OG.
