Where It Comes From
The Carpinteria Valley has been a flower town since the 1960s, when Dutch farmers landed on the Central Coast and found a climate that could grow blooms too delicate to ship from Holland. Glass House Farms works those same greenhouses for a different flower, and it plays up being local to the Santa Barbara area at every turn.
Graham Farrar, the company's president, frames the whole thing as a triple bottom line: good for the customer, good for the team, good for the planet. The brand sits under parent company Glass House Brands, which runs its corporate side out of Long Beach.
