California warning case
A proposed amended consent judgment dated February 20, 2026 covers allegations that seven named Happy Fruit cannabis products were sold without the required California Proposition 65 warning for delta-9 THC. It proposes warning requirements and a $70,000 settlement, including a $4,000 civil penalty and $66,000 for fees and costs. Happy Fruit CA, LLC denied the material allegations, and the proposal would not take effect unless approved and entered by the court.
