Henry’s Original is a farmer-owned California cannabis brand centered on sun-grown flower and pre-rolls from Mendocino County. Its current products include craft eighths, pouch flower, small buds, single and multipack pre-rolls and infused pre-rolls. Cultivation, trimming and packaging run through the company’s own Mendocino County operation.
Founders
Jamie Warm and Joshua Keats co-founded Henry’s Original, each with more than two decades of cultivation experience in the Emerald Triangle. Keats has served as co-chief executive, president and chief operating officer. The brand is based in Laytonville and farms multiple family-run garden sites across Mendocino County’s microclimates. The same operation runs a vineyard producing Chenin Blanc, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Who “Henry” represents
Henry is not a corporate founder. The name is a tribute to the original cannabis pioneers who, in the company’s words, “took us under their wing, inspired us deeply, taught us what we know.”
Farming model
The company grows in small batches across Mendocino microclimates using sun-grown, living-soil and organic-based methods, and it handles trimming and packaging at its own county facility.
Current products
Craft eighths are whole flower in glass jars with compostable caps. Pouch flower comes in 7g, 14g and 28g regular-bud sizes and 3.5g, 7g, 14g and 28g small-bud sizes. Craft pre-rolls run as 1g singles and 14-packs, with half-gram versions in 4-, 14- and 28-packs. Infused pre-rolls carry four half-gram joints combining flower, diamond concentrate and hash.
Certifications
Henry’s Original has been Clean Green Certified since 2016, the longest-running cannabis certification program in the world. It is also ECCO certified, a standard that tests monthly for more than 138 pesticides.
The product mix follows harvest and manufacturing cycles. Whole flower can appear as craft jars, larger pouches or small-bud packs, while pre-rolls range from single full-gram joints to multipacks of half-gram pieces. Infused packs add diamond concentrate and hash, so they should not be compared with an uninfused pack by joint count alone.

Henry's publishes dated Farm Notes about life around the Mendocino operation and selected releases. A June 23, 2026 post introduced Pride Party Packs, following spring posts about farm work and the landscape. These stories add context to the brand's farming identity, while the retail package remains the guide to the cultivar, lot and tested cannabinoids being sold.
Understanding the certifications
Clean Green is a cannabis-focused certification program, and ECCO adds a broad pesticide-screening standard. Neither label should be rewritten as USDA Organic certification. The marks describe the applicable cultivation and testing requirements; they do not mean every package has the same potency, terpene profile or harvest date.
Sun-grown batches
Outdoor and sun-grown cultivation responds to season, garden site and Mendocino microclimate. The same named cultivar can vary between harvests, so adults should compare the lot-specific package rather than relying on a percentage seen in an older menu. Storage also matters: sealed packaging, moderate temperature and protection from excess light help preserve flower quality.
California retail
Henry's Original cannabis is sold through licensed California retailers and cannot be ordered for ordinary interstate shipment. A locator result does not guarantee that every format or cultivar is in stock. The dispensary controls price and fulfillment, and the package identifies the licensed distributor, net weight, ingredients for infused products, tested cannabinoids and warnings.
Wine and cannabis
The Mendocino operation also maintains a vineyard, but its wine activity is separate from regulated cannabis. The shared agricultural setting does not make the products interchangeable or create a combined serving recommendation. Cannabis and alcohol should each be handled under their own label and applicable law.
