At a glance

MFNY, short for Marijuana Farms New York, is a licensed single-source cannabis cultivator and processor based in New Windsor in the Hudson Valley. The company grows and processes its own material, then sells New York products spanning vapes, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls and tinctures without using distillate in its non-flower lineup.

Founders and ownership

MFNY identifies Michael Kandhorov as co-founder and owner and Natalia Kaminskaya as co-founder and head of brand and culture. Kandhorov's prior work was in real estate development and financial markets. Kaminskaya came from hospitality and real estate and now leads brand, retailer, partner and collaboration work. The official team page also names Ian Dyche as head of operations and Galen Connell as head of extraction.

The Hudson Valley operation

MFNY says its farm is about 60 miles north of New York City and that cultivation and production take place at its New Windsor facility. The company uses “seed-to-shelf” to describe control from growing and harvesting through processing. That model does not mean MFNY owns dispensaries; finished products are sold through licensed New York retailers.

What single-source means here

MFNY states that its products are sourced, grown and produced in-house and that it does not grow for other brands. The practical benefit is traceability between the source flower and the finished extract or edible.

Vapes and concentrates

The extraction portfolio includes live resin and live rosin formats. MFNY says its non-flower products use resin or rosin and do not use distillate, preserving a broader mix of plant compounds than a distillate base. Vapes and carts provide the portable format, while packaged concentrates serve consumers using their own devices. Potency and ingredients remain batch-specific and should be checked on the label and certificate of analysis.

Edibles, pre-rolls and tinctures

MFNY's current catalog extends beyond concentrates to live-resin edibles, conventional and infused pre-rolls, and tinctures marketed as Liquid Gold. Product pages group the portfolio by format, while cultivar pages document the genetics feeding those formats. New York's adult-use rules govern package limits, labeling and retailer access; MFNY does not ship regulated cannabis across state lines.

Licenses and testing access

The company publishes New York adult-use cultivator license OCM-CULT-24-000176 and processing license OCM-PROC-24-000175. Its website also links consumers to batch lab results. Those numbers establish licensed cultivation and processing, but current license standing should still be confirmed through the New York Office of Cannabis Management when making a compliance or trade decision.

Verified 2024 recognition

At the 2024 New York Cannabis Awards, Watermelon Fritter by MFNY won the edible-product category and MFNY placed second in edible brand. This was a public-vote event, so the recognition should be labeled separately from laboratory testing or a judged technical competition. The award documents product and brand popularity within that event's format.

High Times Cannabis Cup result

The 2025 New York Cannabis Cup winners page names MFNY's Hash Burger live-resin vape as the winner of the non-distillate vape category. The same results place MFNY's Blueberry × Turbo Blueberry live-resin gummies third in edibles. These are product-specific results; they do not mean every MFNY vape or edible won its category.

Market position and research limits. New York's 2024 market report lists MFNY among the state's top 150 brands by overall sales share, supporting its significance in the regulated market without assigning an unsupported rank. The public record clearly identifies the founders, team, licenses, product architecture and named awards.
