The Flowery is a vertically integrated Florida medical cannabis company that cultivates in Homestead, manufactures flower, concentrates and edibles, operates dispensaries and delivers statewide. It sells its own products and Florida-made versions of licensed partner brands under the state's closed, in-state supply chain.
Garrison family origin
The origin story centers on former Virginia Gardens police chief Steve Garrison and Bill's Nursery in Homestead. Garrison pursued medical cannabis after his son Matthew returned from Iraq with a brain injury and later died in 2017. The family and nursery partners ultimately secured a Florida Medical Marijuana Treatment Center license through a 2019 settlement.
License and vertical integration
Florida's Office of Medical Marijuana Use lists The Flowery under MMTC-2019-0020. Vertical integration means licensed operators control cultivation, processing and dispensing within Florida. Partner-brand products sold there are grown or made through the Florida license; finished cannabis is not imported from California or Colorado.
Indoor cultivation and curing
The Flowery describes small-batch indoor rooms designed around cultivar needs, vertical hang drying, controlled curing and hand trimming. It says most inventory turns within weeks. Freshness and technique are company quality claims; harvest date, package date, storage and batch testing remain the product-level evidence.
Flower, concentrates and edibles
The company's process spans flower, pre-rolls, solventless hash, hydrocarbon live and cured resin, RSO, distillate, vapes and small-batch edibles. The edible kitchen is described as kosher. Formulation, allergen status, extraction method and dose vary by SKU and should be read from the current label.
710 Labs partnership
The Flowery is 710 Labs' licensed Florida partner, providing dedicated cultivation and extraction capacity, retail pickup and statewide delivery for 710 products. 710's own Florida page documents the state-specific relationship. The partnership does not mean every Flowery item is a 710 product or follows the same standards.
Other partner brands
Menus have included Preferred Gardens, Wizard Trees, Backpack Boyz, Runtz, Sherbinskis, Doja, Packwoods and other licensed collaborations. Partner availability changes by drop and store. A brand name on a Florida package identifies a licensing relationship, while The Flowery remains the in-state operator responsible under Florida rules.
Stores and statewide delivery
The current official directory lists 17 locations, including North Miami, Jacksonville, Clearwater, Ocala, Tallahassee, Venice, Hollywood, West Palm Beach, Orlando-area, Tampa and other cities, with delivery to all Florida counties. Older partner pages cite fewer stores and are superseded by the live directory.
