Fatso Rosin

Brand: Punch Extracts

Type: rosin

Fatso Rosin is Punch Extracts' solventless press of Cannarado's GMO Cookies x Legend OG — a genuinely heavy, resin-forward plant that stacks the savoury Chem-and-Cookies side onto an older fuel-heavy kush.

Who Makes It

Punch Edibles & Extracts is a Los Angeles company founded in 2013, operating across California, Oklahoma, and New York. They came up through edibles before moving into craft solventless extraction and grade rosin on a Tier 1-to-4 system. The farm-partner model is the distinguishing feature: releases are made with named growers such as Luma Farms and Redwood Valley Farms, with the farm credited on the jar rather than buried.

The Cross

Fatso comes from Cannarado Genetics in Colorado: GMO Cookies crossed with Legend OG. The GMO side is the Chemdawg-by-Cookies genetic; Legend OG contributes the older kush-and-fuel character. Both parents are resin-forward, which is a large part of why Fatso turns up so often in concentrate form. It also travels as Fatso OG and Fatso Kush.

How It's Made

Rosin is pressed mechanically with heat and pressure and no hydrocarbon solvent, from separated ice-water resin rather than whole flower. This one is labelled rosin rather than live rosin, so fresh-frozen input isn't claimed. Texture runs from a glossy fresh press to opaque cold cure, and colour is not a grade.

The High Rise Take

A GMO cross with Legend OG underneath is about as unsubtle as this category gets, in the best way — and it reads as an evening cut. See the Fatso strain profile, compare the parent on GMO Rosin, or browse the High Rise concentrate library.
