Tropicana Cookies is a live rosin from Punch Extracts, the solventless side of Punch Edibles & Extracts. It is pressed from hash made with the GSC Forum Cut × Tangie cultivar, and retailers carry it as a 1g Tier 3 live rosin.
The starting cultivar has a competition record of its own. Tropicana Cookies took first place in the sativa category at the IC 420 Growers Cup in 2019.
How Punch makes live rosin
Punch describes itself as a company specializing in craft solventless extraction. Its live rosin starts with fresh frozen flower rather than cured flower, a choice the company makes to hold on to terpenes that would otherwise boil off at room temperature.
That frozen material is washed into hash with ultra-purified ice and water. The hash is then pressed through a fine mesh to separate out impurities, leaving a solvent-free concentrate. Punch runs the process in a climate-controlled room.
The result comes in two finishes: fresh press or cold cure batter. Punch sells its rosin as small-batch concentrates across four tiers.

Tropicana Cookies was first bred by Harry Palms of Bloom Seed Co. It crosses the Forum Cut of Girl Scout Cookies with Tangie. Oni Seed Co of Colorado continued the line and released a Tropicana Cookies F2.
The cultivar travels under several names. Leafly lists Tropicanna Cookies, Tropicana Cookies F2 and MTN Trop as aliases, and classes it as a sativa-leaning hybrid.
It has a track record in extracts beyond Punch. HENDRX notes that Tropicana Cookies shows up in widely distributed carts, including vape oil from Jetty Extracts.
The plant behind the press
Tropicana Cookies grows fast and healthy, with medium to high yields. Indoors it finishes in 58–65 days, and outdoor plants come down in early to mid-October. Leafly notes that it grows well in hot climates.
Weedmaps describes two phenotypes, one with purple flowers and one green. Both build large, dense, resin-coated buds, and growers can push yields with Sea of Green or Screen of Green methods. Leafly describes the flower as purple buds with hints of dark green and orange hairs, the same purple look HENDRX singles out for its cut.
Leafly lists the flower at around 16% THC, led by caryophyllene, limonene and linalool. Reviewers describe the high as focused, energetic and uplifted, and the flavor as orange and tropical citrus backed by a cookie finish.
