Jetty Extracts is the California vape and concentrate maker that Ron Gershoni, Nate Ferguson and Rob Ferguson started in San Diego in 2013. It runs three oil families, Solventless, Live Resin and High THC, alongside the Dablicator applicator, infused pre-rolls and live rosin. Licensed shops in California, Colorado and New York carry the line.
The numbers held up in 2026. Headset ranked Jetty No. 3 in California vapor pens for August 2026, up from No. 4 a year earlier, and No. 4 in Colorado and No. 5 in New York in the same category.
A decade in California before the first move
Jetty stayed home for a long time. "We didn't expand outside of California for the first 10 or 11 years in business," Ferguson, co-founder and chief product officer, told High Times in March 2026. The goal was to get California "as on rails as possible" before taking the brand anywhere else.
That patience outlasted most of the field. Ferguson told the same interviewer that 90% of the brands Jetty started alongside in 2013 are out of business. Gershoni serves as co-founder and CEO, and the company lists a team of more than 100 employees. Its operations span San Diego, greater Los Angeles and the Bay Area, plus the two markets it added after California.
Ice, water, heat and pressure
The solventless line is the house specialty. Jetty spent two years in research and development on the process before launch. Sun-grown plants are flash-frozen in the field, washed in an ice-water bath and agitated to separate trichomes. The heads are filtered, dried into cold water hash and hand-pressed into live rosin for vapes and concentrates.
Jetty's solventless products carry OCal certification, California's comparable-to-organic program for cannabis, and the company counts itself among the first manufacturers to earn it. Its farm partners are sun-grown California operations using regenerative practices. Live Resin runs on fresh-frozen material through cryoextraction. The High THC cartridges come in named cultivars including Sour Diesel, Pineapple Express, King Louis, Jack, Trainwreck and Skater.
Mini Tanks, wood tips and the Dablicator
Hardware is part of the identity. The all-in-one Live Rosin Mini Tank holds a gram and runs on CCell's Mini Tank hardware with EVOMax ceramic heating, in Hybrid, Sativa and Indica versions. Standard carts are 1-gram ceramic cartridges, and some drops carry cherry wood tips cut from upcycled furniture.
The Dablicator is Jetty's own oil applicator, a 1-gram syringe-style format that also comes in a solventless version. The rest of the 2026 catalog:

Emerald Cup hardware from 2023
Jetty put three products on the 2023 Emerald Cup results. Its Super Lemon Haze live badder took first place in the hydrocarbon solid category of Solvent Concentrate. Vanilla Blossom placed third among distillate cartridges, and the Gas Man Solventless Rosin Cartridge finished fourth among solventless carts, according to the winners list Weedmaps published on May 17, 2023.
SC Labs also recognized that Super Lemon Haze live resin for the highest terpene content in a hydrocarbon extraction at the 2023 event, at 11.44% total terpenes. A year later the market data followed. BDSA figures cited by Canopy Growth in May 2024 ranked Jetty the No. 1 national live rosin vape brand for February 2024.
New York, Colorado and the market Jetty left
New York came first outside California. Jetty launched there on March 28, 2023 with its High THC cartridge line, built on flower and distillate from Hepworth Farms, the Hudson Valley operation founded in 1818. Union Square Travel Agency, Housing Works Cannabis Co. and Smacked Village were the first stores to carry it.
Each state runs differently. Ferguson told High Times in March 2026 that California production stays in-house, while Colorado uses a hybrid model with longtime industry partners. In New York, Jetty is building its own manufacturing facility in Albany to control sourcing and production. The company also entered New Jersey and pulled out when manufacturing there didn't meet its standards.
How Canopy USA came to own most of Jetty
The ownership change took two years. Canopy Growth announced a plan to acquire Jetty on May 18, 2022. On May 7, 2024 it confirmed that Canopy USA, its separate U.S. holding company, had exercised options to buy Jetty and the Colorado edibles maker Wana Brands. Canopy announced the completed purchase of about 75% of Lemurian, Inc., the company that owns and operates Jetty, on June 4, 2024.
When the Wana deal closed on October 9, 2024, Canopy said the two sister brands would build a joint sales force in New York. Canopy Growth's quarterly filing for the period ended June 30, 2026 lists Canopy USA holding about 77% of Lemurian. Canopy USA also owns all of Wana and all of Acreage Holdings.
The Shelter Project and Cannabis for Good
Jetty's compassion program started in 2014. The Shelter Project gives accepted applicants up to 8 grams of Jetty products every other month at no cost or reduced cost, including cartridges, all-in-one vapes and Dablicators. It opens two enrollment cycles a year in California, Colorado and New York for applicants facing financial hardship.
The program has donated more than $1.2 million in products to more than 1,320 people. The founders also lobbied for cannabis reform through their Cannabis for Good tour, which the company credits with helping pass California Senate Bill 34. Jetty issues limited strain releases that send profits to nonprofit organizations.
Jetty on the shelf in 2026
Headset tracked Jetty in 714 licensed dispensaries in August 2026, 389 of them in California. Vapor pens made up 92.9% of its sales that month, with pre-rolls at 4.9% and concentrates at 2.2%. Sales were up 59.8% year over year. The top sellers were the Pineapple Express Live Resin Cartridge, the Blue Dream Unrefined Live Resin Cartridge and the Granddaddy Purple Distillate Cartridge.
The brand stays visible at the counter. Jetty ran a Live Resin campaign on its site in July 2026, and Vibe by California held a Meet the Brand day with Jetty at its Stockton store on June 24, 2026. The store locator, updated April 29, 2026, lists licensed medical and adult-use dispensaries in all three states.
