Jetty Extracts is a California cannabis extraction company founded in San Diego in 2013. The brand is known for solventless rosin vapes, live resin, concentrates, infused pre-rolls and the Dablicator oil applicator, with licensed availability in California, Colorado and New York. Canopy USA took a controlling stake in the operating company in 2024.
Founders and early history
Ron Gershoni, Nate Ferguson and Rob Ferguson founded Jetty in 2013, a group of friends who set out to make extracts they would stand behind. They financed extraction equipment and built the brand around oil formulation, hardware and repeatable manufacturing rather than a single famous cultivar. Gershoni serves as chief executive.
Products
The catalog runs to solventless, live-resin and high-THC vape cartridges, all-in-one Mini Tank devices, live-rosin concentrates, pre-rolls infused with live resin or cold-water hash, the Dablicator applicator for measured oil dispensing, and apparel.
OCal certification
In 2022 Jetty announced OCal certification for its solventless manufacturing process, and California's approved-manufacturer list identifies Ametrine Wellness doing business as Jetty Extracts. OCal is California's comparable-to-organic cannabis program, distinct from federal USDA Organic certification.
Farms and sustainability
Jetty partners with sun-grown California farms using regenerative practices and prioritizes local sourcing, and it has used farm-specific material for solventless releases. Its packaging work includes recyclable tins and lower-impact components.
The Shelter Project
Running since 2014, the Shelter Project has donated more than $1.2 million in Jetty products to over 1,320 patients. The company also issues limited strain releases that direct proceeds to nonprofits working on social and environmental causes.
Markets
The official locator lists licensed medical and adult-use dispensaries in California, Colorado and New York. Operations are centered in San Diego and extend to Los Angeles and the Bay Area.
Ownership
Canopy USA completed its acquisition of approximately 77 percent of the shares of Lemurian, Inc., Jetty's operating company, on May 31, 2024. Canopy USA also owns the edibles maker Wana and the multistate operator Acreage.
Awards
Jetty's Banana Creme Solventless Vape took first place for Best Vape Pen at the 2021 High Times Cannabis Cup. At the 2023 Emerald Cup Awards the brand placed first in Solvent Concentrate with Super Lemon Haze 100% Live Resin Concentrate, third in Distillate Cartridge with Vanilla Blossom High THC and fourth in Solventless Cartridge with Gas Man Solventless Vape.
Comparing Jetty vapes
Jetty separates solventless live rosin, live resin and high-THC vape lines. Solventless oil is made from fresh-frozen cannabis through ice water, heat and pressure. Live resin uses solvent extraction, while the high-THC line is positioned around potency. A cartridge and an all-in-one also use different hardware, so extract family, device, state and package should be compared together.
OCal meaning
OCal is California's state certification program for cannabis labeled comparable to organic; it is not federal USDA Organic certification. Jetty's certified solventless products and the licensed operation should be checked against the state's list. The certification applies within its documented scope and should not be stretched into a claim that every Jetty item, farm partner or product sold in another state carries OCal status.
Ownership in 2026
A June 2026 SEC filing states that Canopy USA held about 77 percent of Lemurian, Inc., the company identified as Jetty. Canopy Growth describes Canopy USA as a separate U.S. structure and does not hold Jetty shares directly. That distinction matters: Jetty is majority owned by Canopy USA, while Canopy Growth's relationship runs through its interest in that holding company.
Shelter Project
The Shelter Project provides donated or heavily discounted extracts to qualifying California cancer patients facing financial hardship. Enrollment opens in set periods, and product types depend on availability. Its cumulative dollar and patient figures describe charitable distribution rather than a clinical trial or treatment claim.
