NECANN brings its Minnesota Cannabis Convention back to the Minneapolis Convention Center on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15, 2027. It's year two for the show, which runs 10:00 AM–4:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 AM–3:00 PM on Saturday. The expo floor and speaker program are built around Minnesota's licensed cannabis market.
About the show
NECANN has helped new cannabis markets grow through B2B networking and educational conventions since 2014. Its approach is Local First: each show centers on one state's operators and market conditions. In Minneapolis, NECANN expects around 120 exhibiting companies and more than 60 expert speakers.
The organizer invites licensed growers, dispensary networks, financial managers and advocates for high-value networking. The floor is B2B attendees only, no consumer sales are permitted, and the event runs under state-licensed commercial compliance rules.
Dates, hours and venue
Friday, May 14 runs 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, and Saturday, May 15 runs 10:00 AM–3:00 PM. The box office opens at 9:30 AM. The Minneapolis Convention Center is at 1301 2nd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55403. NECANN notes it is easy to reach from regional highways, passenger rail lines and local airports, and the venue is handicap accessible.
Selected hotel discount blocks are active for registered exhibitors and VIP ticket holders. Badge holders may leave and re-enter as often as they like.
Tickets and passes
Attendee registration is listed as coming soon, and ticket prices have not been posted yet. NECANN offers a Free Buyer Pass for qualifying buyers. Tickets can also be bought at the door, cash only.
All tickets are non-refundable, but they can be transferred by emailing NECANN support with the name and email address of the new attendee. Replacement badges are $25 at the registration desk.
Know before you go
The show is 21+, and no medical card is required. No cannabis of any kind can be sold, distributed or displayed at the Convention Center. Security can search all bags and backpacks, and outside food, beverages and weapons are not allowed. Only registered service animals are permitted.
Pictures are allowed on the exhibit floor, but videotaping speakers or programming is not. With free re-entry, it's easy to split the weekend: floor meetings one day, sessions the next. Friday runs an hour longer if you can only make one day. Check the official site for last-minute changes.
