Terp Basel is a cannabis culture festival that takes over Skatebird Miami each December during Miami Art Week. Produced by Certified Baked!, it bills itself as a celebration of art, music, fashion and culture, and it runs on the same weekend energy as the fairs across the bay.
The 2026 edition is set for December 4–6, 2026 at Skatebird Miami, the fifth December run since the festival started in 2022.
Year one at a Miami skate park in 2022
Leafly covered the first Terp Basel in December 2022 and called it year one. The three-day event filled a Miami skate park during Art Basel week with a blunt rolling competition, painted walls and live sets from Smoke DZA and Curren$y.
California names carried the sponsor roster that first year. Leafly listed Alien Labs, Terphogz, Jelly Wizard, Humboldt Terp Council and Preferred Gardens among the backers, framing the event as a way for West Coast brands to back artists on the East Coast.
Skatebird and the 2023 edition
Respect My Region previewed the 2023 edition for December 7–10, 2023 at Skatebird Miami. The program listed art installations, live painting, a fashion show, industry panels and a performance from Dead Prez.
LA Weekly reported four rolling contests, charity fundraisers and themed nights that year. Preferred Gardens owner David Polley and Harry Palms of Bloom Seed Co. were among the California growers who made the trip.
Runway, roasts and the 2025 run
The 2025 festival ran December 5–7, 2025 at Skatebird Miami. Talking Joints Memo counted participants from 15 countries across Europe, South America, the Caribbean, Canada and the U.S., and described an event that had grown from a niche gathering into a fixture of Art Basel week.
Programming mixed a fashion show built on skate style and Miami street culture with comedy roast battles and the USA Squash Off Cup in the half pipe. Vincent Gordon and R2Romero painted live murals, and Qbert and DJ Whoo Kid played sets. The High Ya Doin Show filmed the “Highest on the Runway” fashion showcase.
More than 100 brands on the grounds
Honeysuckle Magazine counted more than 100 participating brands at the 2025 edition. FUMI and B-Eazy were co-presenting sponsors, with Whole Melt Extracts, Don Merfos, Terp Hogz, Freezer Room, Looseleaf, Green Lobby, DSFF and NWO at the platinum level.
The vendor mix runs well past flower. Talking Joints Memo named hashmakers, glassblowers, fashion designers and streetwear labels among the dozens of vendors working the Skatebird grounds.

Terp Basel 2026 is scheduled for December 4–6, 2026 at Skatebird Miami, per the festival’s official site. It keeps the Miami Art Week slot the festival has held since 2022 and the art, music, fashion and culture billing it carried into 2025.
