The Core 2.0 is a portable e-rig from Shenzhen Crossing Technology: a 3150mAh battery base, four heat settings and a rebuildable atomizer with a fully heated, high-polish ceramic surface, topped by a glass bubbler. Load it, pick a setting and press one button. It replaces the torch and the banger with a heater you can service yourself.
Crossing no longer lists the Core 2.0 on its store, where the Core 2.1 has taken its place, and Grasscity shows the 2.0 sold out. Its last list price at Grasscity was $199.99.
The rebuildable atomizer
The atomizer is the headline feature. When a heater wears out, you swap the V5 heater instead of replacing the whole atomizer or the rig. The kit ships with one V5 heater installed and a spare, plus spare screws and a screwdriver for the job.
The atomizer takes V5 heaters only, so stick to that part when you reorder.
Heat and session length
Four heat settings cover the range, and a full session runs about 80 seconds including preheat. Crossing positions it for a wide range of concentrates, from thin oils to solid shatter. For how temperature changes a dab, the low-temp vs. high-temp guide is the place to start.
Carb cap and bubbler
The 2.0 swapped the original glass carb cap for an aluminum spinner carb cap with an upgraded stainless steel tube, which removes one fragile glass part from a piece built to travel. A tether keeps the cap attached, and a silicone base cover protects the battery.

Alternatives
