The Rain Rig is a 6.75-inch dab rig from GRAV built around a fixed eight-hole showerhead percolator. It runs a narrow mouthpiece to control airflow and cut splashback, sits on a three-inch borosilicate base, and takes a 14mm female joint. A 45-degree quartz banger comes in the box. It runs $89.99.
What eight holes buys you
A showerhead perc pushes vapor through a ring of openings so it breaks into small streams before it meets the water. Eight is the count that diffuses properly without turning the pull into a fight. The perc is fixed rather than removable, which is one less joint to leak and one less part to lose.
The narrow mouthpiece does two jobs. It restricts the opening enough to keep water where it belongs on a hard pull, and it concentrates the airflow so the draw feels controlled instead of loose.
The banger is already in the box
GRAV includes a 14mm 45-degree male quartz banger, which matters more than it reads on a spec sheet. Rigs in this range often arrive bare, and you find out at the counter that the nail is a separate purchase. Here the 14mm female joint is filled the day it lands.
The 45-degree angle suits a piece this short. You can see into the bucket without standing over it, and the joint sits far enough off the mouthpiece that your hand and your face are not competing for the same space.
Why the base is three inches wide
Three inches of base under a 6.75-inch piece is a deliberate ratio. It keeps the center of gravity low, which matters more on a dab rig than on a bong, because you are regularly setting a torched banger back onto it one-handed.
Borosilicate is the material spec behind that. It tolerates hot glass meeting cold glass, the stress that ends cheaper pieces, and usually not in one dramatic break but as a hairline crack at the joint that turns up weeks later.

Who ends up reaching for it
This is a daily driver rather than a showpiece. Small enough to travel, stable enough to leave set up, and the showerhead does real filtration without the maintenance load of a stacked perc. GRAV builds to scientific-glass conventions, and that shows in the parts nobody photographs: joint tolerance, wall consistency, how a mouthpiece is finished.
The honest limit is chamber volume. Under seven inches there is only so much water and so much room, so it rewards a modest dab and gets harsh on a large one. If you take big loads, you want more glass.
What it costs and where
It lists at $89.99 through HEMPER, which carries the GRAV rig line. The Wedge Bubbler is the flatter, more pocketable take at 4.75 inches, and the Eclipse is another rig from the same catalog. For flower instead, there is the Oracle. More glass on the GRAV brand page. For adults 21 and over.
