Why the showerhead perc matters here
A showerhead percolator is a vertical tube with slits cut around the bottom. Smoke travels up, hits the water, and pushes out through every slit at once instead of one wide opening.
Splitting one large bubble into many small ones increases the surface area meeting the water, and surface area is what strips heat. The practical result on a piece this size is a pull that lands cool rather than sharp — the thing cheap glass usually gets wrong.
The egg body
An egg-shaped chamber is rounder and lower than a straight tube, which keeps the water sitting in a broad, shallow pool. Nothing about the shape is decorative-only: a low, wide body is harder to tip and keeps the whole piece short enough to pack.
The spotted decal work runs in assorted colours, so the piece reads as designed rather than as budget glass with a sticker on it.

Keeping it clean
Percolated glass holds resin in places a paper towel will never reach. Dump and refill the water after every couple of sessions, and give the chamber a proper soak in isopropyl and coarse salt once a week. Plug the joint and mouthpiece, shake it in short bursts rather than one long rattle, and rinse with warm — not hot — water so the glass never takes a thermal shock.
