Alien Cookies is Jaws Genetics' cross of the Forum cut of Girl Scout Cookies with an Aliendawg F4 male. It's the strain most people have never smoked but everyone has tasted secondhand, because it's the mother of MAC — short, dark, resin-caked plants that yield badly and got bred from anyway.
Where It Comes From
Jaws Genetics, also credited as Jaws Gear, released Alien Cookies during the 2010s Cookies wave, and it stayed a breeder's strain more than a commercial one. It was only ever offered in non-feminized form, which is part of why finished Alien Cookies flower stayed scarce while its offspring spread everywhere.
The pivotal moment came when Capulator selected an Alien Cookies female for the project that became Miracle Alien Cookies. The trade-off was blunt: extraordinary flower on a plant that grows slowly, barely stretches, and yields terribly.
He crossed it with Miracle 15, a Colombian x Starfighter male, specifically to fix the growth rate and the yield. It worked. Only one of the first ten seeds popped, and that plant became MAC1. Seeds were first distributed publicly at Chalice Festival in 2016.
Every MAC, MAC1, and downstream MAC cross on a shelf today traces back through Jaws' Alien Cookies. That is a strange kind of fame, and it is the reason the name still carries weight in rooms where almost nobody has run the plant itself.
The Cross
The documented cross is Forum GSC x Aliendawg F4. The Forum cut is the clone-only Girl Scout Cookies phenotype named for the ICMag forum where it was documented, and GSC itself traces to OG Kush x F1 Durban. It contributes dense bracts and the capacity for deep purple color.
Aliendawg is Chemdawg crossed with Alien Technology, an Afghani line. The F4 notation matters: Jaws worked that line through four generations of selection, so shorthand like Alien Dawg x GSC loses real information about what actually went into the cross.
Plants are short and stout with heavy branching, producing thick nuggets that can finish blackish purple, stacking large bulging calyxes with bright orange pistils under a sugary resin coat. Resin density is the trait everyone comes back to, and it is the reason breeders kept a difficult plant in rotation.
What It Left Behind
Its influence is genetic, and that is the stronger claim anyway.
It is a foundational parent of MAC, one of the most widely bred-from cultivars of the last decade, and it earned that position on resin and structure despite being a difficult, low-yielding plant. Breeders do not keep a bad grower around unless what it passes down is worth the trouble.
