Guava Biscotti is a hybrid from Connected Cannabis Co., the California indoor flower brand that created Biscotti. Connected sells it as Guava × Biscotti, and the full cross reads (Guava × Gelato 41) × (South Florida OG × Gelato #25).
That makes it a meeting of two Connected-family lines. One side brings Guava crossed with Gelato 41, while the other side is Biscotti itself, the Gelato #25 × South Florida OG cross Connected developed in 2016.
Biscotti, the Connected half
Biscotti came out of Connected's search in 2016 for what it calls the next great evolution of the Gelato family. The company lists it as an indica-dominant hybrid of South Florida OG × Gelato #25.
In a 2024 GreenState interview, co-creator Caleb Counts explained how the team picked its Gelato. They ran a red cup phenotype hunt across four candidates: RC14, RC25, RC27 and RC28. Gelato 25 won out because its subtler, sweeter profile balanced the intensity of South Florida OG.
The name came from Berner of Cookies, and Counts told GreenState the strain was first marketed as a Cookies release through a paid partnership, with a contract that barred Cookies from growing Biscotti. Guava × Gelato 41 on the other side
The second parent pairs Guava with Gelato 41, another indica-dominant cultivar on Connected's menu. Connected describes Gelato 41 as an elite phenotype of Gelato, from Sunset Sherbet × a Thin Mint GSC phenotype.
Gelato 41 is known for bright-orange pistils and frosty trichomes over dense, olive-green and purple buds. Connected says the cut has built a cult following.
Put together, Guava Biscotti carries Gelato genetics on both sides of the cross. Gelato 41 anchors the Guava parent, and Gelato #25 anchors Biscotti. South Florida OG is the one OG line in the mix.
Out of the Cookies Fam vault
Connected's product listing on Weedmaps presents Guava × Biscotti as coming straight from the Cookies Fam vault. It sells as a 3.5-gram eighth in Connected's Big Buds format.
That same listing calls it a dessert-forward hybrid, with bright berry flavors backed by subtle coffee and spice. The Biscotti side of the family is also known for shifting between harvests. Connected says Biscotti's terpene profile can change from batch to batch, unlike any other strain it grows.
Leafly lists Guava Biscotti as a Connected Cannabis Co. hybrid at 22% THC. Its leading terpenes are limonene, then caryophyllene and linalool, and Leafly describes the effects as calm and uplifting.
Where Connected grows and sells
Connected positions itself as a top-shelf indoor cultivator, with the tagline Cultivated for Connoisseurs. Its catalog leans on in-house genetics, including Biscotti, Gelato 41 and Permanent Marker.
The company runs three retail stores in Sacramento, Stockton and San Francisco, each open daily from 9am to 9pm. Beyond California, Connected products reach Arizona, Florida, Pennsylvania and New York.
Biscotti itself has traveled further through music. Connected says the strain has been named in more hit songs than it can count, crediting a balance that lets creativity and relaxation flow together.
